Here is a rare opportunity to enjoy the exclusive use of a private woodland. Relax in an off grid back to nature experience, light a fire, build a den, or just sit and contemplate. Don't worry about other campers, there aren't any! The wood will be exclusively yours for the entire stay. Expand your camping experience, try hanging a hammock and take a snooze at Woodland Edge! You may never want to sleep in a tent again. Bushcraft courses onsite.
About Woodland Edge
The site is a young yet mostly wild wood offering the chance of self discovery away from the trappings of modern life. This is a great location to reconnect with the remarkable natural environment, hear the birdsong, or try spotting those elusive deer and, when darkness arrives, sit around the fire gazing into magical flickering flames. Pitches onsite are mostly wild and allow you to choose where to pitch your tent or hammock within the cleared areas. The site is completely fenced with a lockable gate, making it ideal for families with children. Let the young ones explore, discover and learn in this secure wood. Hammocks are available for hire, if you fancy giving it a try! Assistance and guidance is always on hand for the less experienced wilderness campers. Dogs welcome. Due to the site being predominately wooded, only limited space available for large tents. But please do enquire. Introduction to bushcraft courses can be arranged.
The site is open from 12th April until the end of October for exclusive use bookings.
