Forest Glen Holiday Park is a 15 minute walk from the shores of Loch Ness, in the picturesque forested mountains of the Great Glen. The site welcomes campers (12+) and self contained touring units (up to 8m) on grass and gravel pitches with glorious mountain views. A short stroll from Invermoriston with shops, cafe and a hotel restaurant. The Great Glen way, Telford Bridge and Invermoriston Falls are all within easy reach too. Dog friendly.

About Forest Glen Holiday Park

An ideal base for exploring Loch Ness and the Highlands. This simple, touring park for those 12 and over, is located just a short stroll from Loch Ness, great for those looking to uncover the legend of Nessie or simply head out on a boat trip or enjoy a scenic waterside stroll. There are just six non electric grass and gravel pitches onsite. Each measures around 5m x 9m and allows up to four guests. Campervans, motorhomes and caravans are all welcome, with each pitch enjoying scenic views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The site is also home to a range of cabins and a cottage, some even with their own hot tubs! For evenings onsite, you can cook up your own BBQ, it will just need to be raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted. Dogs are welcome here too, with up to two permitted per pitch. The surrounding landscapes are perfect for your pup to stretch their legs. Please note, there are no onsite toilets, showers or chemical disposal points. All guests will need access to their own facilities in their unit.

There are no toilets and showers onsite. There is a grey disposal point. Free BT Guest WiFi by the reception building.

For grabbing any essentials, the Invermoriston Community Shop is a five minute walk away. The Glen Rowan cafe and Glenmoriston Arms Hotel bar/restaurant are a five minute walk away for a drink or bite to eat.

You won't even need to get in the car to enjoy fun filled days out. The River Moriston flows past the site where you will also find the Invermoriston Falls, perfect for scenic walks.

The shores of Loch Ness are also only a 15 minute walk away, great for waterside walks or trying to spot Nessy! You can even pick up one of the popular boat trips from Cruise Loch Ness, only a ten minute drive away.

For learning about some local history, Urquhart Castle is a 15 minute drive away. The 15th century ruins are located on the shores of the loch, home to both a visitor centre and cafe.
