Peaceful secluded glamping, Wigwam Holidays Orchard Stables is a small site nestled within a 23-acre equestrian centre by the historical Collingham. There are six glamping pods to choose from, four of which have the added luxury of a hot tub. Relax around the fire pit on your own patio, or venture off site and explore the local countryside, with direct access to the Sustrans 64 cycle path.

We've just returned from a two night stay at Orchard Stables and we cannot fault it! The location was great with pubs/takeaways nearby and lots of walking routes with gorgeous scenery. The wigwam itself was bigger than we expected and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely look at visiting another time!

Had a lovely two night stay at the Orchard Stables! Walkable to the the local town which had everything you would need for a short break and a great base for countryside walks! The horses were the best addition too, we loved looking out at the horses!

Absolutely fantastic pods that are equipped with everything you need for a wonderful holiday and spotlessly clean. Collingham is a beautiful old English village with everything you could need. We ate at the Royal Oak pub for Sunday lunch, which was divine. There are lots of public footpaths nearby, we opted for a 6 mile hike around the RSPB Langford Lowfields and woodland, which at parts also encompasses parts of the river Trent. The pods themselves are set on a lovely equestrian farm with beautiful horses. We could not fault our stay.

This place was beautiful. Perfect location, amazing views. The hut was very clean and cosy. Loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit. Lovely and peaceful, would definitely return. Great hosts, really helpful.

What an amazing stay, we're all feeling very relaxed and had some much needed family time! Staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The lodges were beautiful, cosy and had everything we needed. An absolutely gorgeous location, access to local village and a lovely nature walk. My daughter and I loved the horses walking past as being horse lovers ourselves. The hot tub design just added to it. It was the perfect retreat and we had some cosy nights next to the firepit with marshmallows/card games. We are definitely going to return!

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Cathy and Ian who showed us into our pod and already had the hot tub warmed and ready for us. The pod was so fresh and clean with up to date interior including everything we would need for our stay. There was extra kindling/logs available at reception for the hot tub/fire pit at a very good price. Cathy is a great host as she was easy to contact for any needs or questions we had. Would 100% recommend to a friend and we are already planning our return!!

Beautiful little place and so peaceful! The pods had everything you need and more and so comfortable! The tranquility is hard to beat, and to say its only a few minutes away from a main road, you'd think you were in the middle of nowhere. Can't wait to come back with the family and have a weekend there with the hot tub this time. The owners checked in with us and we're so friendly and welcoming.... Recommended this little farm to anyone, added bonus of horses in their paddocks to add to the view.

Best weekend away! Very welcoming and thoughtful hosts, welcoming us at the pod when we arrived and getting us heart balloons to celebrate our first Valentines. The pod was exceptionally clean and surprisingly spacious. The kitchen had everything we could think of including tea, coffee, hot chocolate and washing up liquid. Only thing missing would be scissors or a bread knife but we understood due to children potentially staying. Bathroom was large and clean but not given the same attention to detail as the rest of the pod. To improve, they could maybe have more shampoo and conditioner and a hair dryer. There is a lovely village with nice pubs, a co-op, and Chinese restaurant. Lovely walks nearby. And only 10/15mins from Newark. The hot tub was a lovely addition to have, although we wanted to just buy matches and kindling as had logs left but had to buy logs too. The best weekend ever, and couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you!

The hosts were absolutely fabulous and were very helpful from the moment we arrived, to when we checked out. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the pod was beautiful, it had everything you needed inside. The hot tub was definitely a perk, which we loved and was great in the cold weather - perfect trip to relax. Will definitely visit again soon, but with the whole family as it had lots of space for kids to play and beautiful horses closeby to admire. 5 stars for everything.

Beautiful location. The pods were thought through to the T, anything you needed was already provided. The hosts were lovely and the hot tub was just heaven upon earth. Definitely would recommend!

Amazing! The place was spotless, the honesty shop was very handy and the peace and quiet was lovely. We were able to check out late and enjoyed the hot tub with our friends who were also staying. Would for sure stay again!

We stayed here for New Year and we loved it. The pod was well equipped and clean. Location is good too, not far from the local pub and shop and also within driving distance of other places, such as Lincoln. We would love to stay again in summer time. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are after a quiet relaxing getaway.

Ian and Cathy were fab, making sure we were sorted and made our stay so enjoyable. Ian showed us how to work the hot tub on arrival but kept coming back to check on it, which we really appreciated. The pod was immaculate. We had the best stay! A couple of small things that we noted, the pods could do with a couple more coat hooks inside and I would advise bringing another sharp knife and a chopping board if you're planning to cook.

My partner and I stayed at the Orchard Stables site in late December and loved our time in the lodge. We were warmly welcomed by the site manager, who showed us to our lodge and ensured we had everything we needed. He then set up our hot tub and showed us how to use it, so it was ready for later that evening. The lodges themselves are very well equipped, containing a spacious kitchen and dining area, double bed, TV and en-suite bathroom. We loved our time in the lodge and would highly recommend it to others. The option of the hot tub is well worth the additional payment, however, we were slightly disappointed that we had to pay for wood to heat the hot tub on the second night after already paying £150 to add the hot tub. We were not aware that the significant amount of additional money that we paid for the hot tub only included one night's use, and that we had to spend further money on the second night to heat it. I think this should be reconsidered as the additional money we paid should cover the cost to heat the hot tub. Overall, a very nice stay in a lovely lodge in Newark Upon Trent.
