Not far from tempting points on the Isle of Wight's coastline - such as Blackgang Chine and a round of fantastic beaches, glamping at Sibbecks Farm has plenty to offer. With just two luxuriously furnished safari tents, each with private facilities and access to a woodland play area, it makes for a wonderful family break. Help yourself to home grown veg, eat the freshest of eggs from the farm's chickens and indulge in a perfect island escape.
About Sibbecks Farm
This family run glamping haven features views worth getting excited about, and the charming atmosphere of a smallholding in the south of the isle. It's home to hopping bunnies, chickens and gentle guinea pigs, along with two glorious safari tents. A lovely stream makes its lazy way though the site and has its own little hive of local wildlife with riverside plants and dragonflies dipping into the water. The rest of the space is your luscious meadow and sweeping woodland. You never know, you might even spot a red squirrel up in the tree tops! Each of the safari tents includes your own private eco-composting toilet and shower, just a few steps from your glamping accommodation. These are great for the environment and also kept clean as whistle - it's glam all the way here. Things to do on site and in the Whitwell area
Right here on site you can indulge in a taste of the good life, plucking fresh veg from the honesty patch and serving it up for your tea with a satisfied smile. Don't just look after your tummy though, as everyone can also join in with keeping Sibbeck's four legged residents well fed.
Making for the beach? The team will lend you a bucket and spade so that there'll be nothing standing between you and a fabulous sand castle - except perhaps the tide. Make time for Reeth Bay, Binnel Bay and more for great beach days.
If wriggling your toes in glorious sandy beaches isn't enough exercise, hire some of Sibbecks Farm's microscooters and get zooming. Theye even have adventure kits to help the family string up a hammock and nap in between the trees, or the kids build an unbeatable den.
Other great options:
- Isle of Wight Coastal Path
- Shanklin
- Blackgang Chine
