Brynhaul Camping and Shepherds Huts (Welsh for Sun Hill) sits in panoramic view of Pembrokeshire's highest point along the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It's a tranquil, mostly off-grid, clover field campsite which also includes two well equipped ensuite shepherd's huts with hot tubs available to hire. Relax in a beautiful rural setting, round the fire pit and get to know the stunning coastline only 20 minutes away.

Shepherd's Hut - Skylark Shepherd's Hut with Hot TubAug 2022

Just got back from 3 nights of staying in the Skylark Hut, quite an upgrade from staying in a tent, with an added bonus of a hot tub which went down a treat with the kids! Steve was very informative, based on his recommendations we swapped a few things that we originally had planned. He was very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend! 20 mins from Fishguard and Narbeth,10 mins from the reservoir where we went paddle boarding and mountain biking. All in all, a lovely few nights' break.

Weekend stay with plenty of support

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2022

Prior to arrival, we received contact that they were expecting us, and understood that I was running late due to train issues, they understood and welcomed us upon arrival (even though it was getting late). Camping is very limiting and often there are shared toilets, however, I felt the private toilet was a bonus, not to mention the fire pit - which really helps that feel of getting away under a star-lit sky. The hot showers were a blessing on the fresh mornings too, helping you feel refreshed in an instant. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (and wish I had spent more time actually on camp simply enjoying the site) but I would state that a car may be needed, there are few local shops. However, the local restaurant /bar and cafe are great as well!

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2022

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Brynhaul, where we met new friends, with whom we are planning future adventures. The setting is idyllic and the enclosed field is perfect for kids to round around and play in. Steve is a top bloke, friendly and helpful with great advice on things to do locally. No hesitation in recommending Brynhaul Camping.

Such a happy time

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay at Brynhaul Campsite. The pitches are spacious and well maintained, with fantastic views over the countryside. The loos work really well and there is plenty of hot water for showers and washing up. Steve was very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for places to visit and to eat and drink - he is in his element running this campsite. We had lunch at Caffi'r Sgwar, again lovely friendly people and delicious food. Most things can be bought at Sarah's shop - it is like a tardis and seems to stock all sorts of things you never knew you needed. We also visited Carla's shop on the way to Fishguard and bought some fantastic meat (and ice creams!) Liz's Bakery in Narberth does delicious pies and desserts. Aside from eating our way around Pembrokeshire, we climbed Foel Cwmcerwyn, which you can see from the campsite, and parked in the village car park at Rosebush. Well worth the walk to the top as the views are amazing. We also walked along some of the coastal path from Porth Clais and at Dinas Island, where we swam in the sea. Both recommended and a good pub at Pwllgwaelod, the Old Sailor. We were blessed with good weather and the site was an ideal place to relax and unwind. It is also ideally placed for exploring all of Pembrokeshire. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Shepherd's Hut - Hedgerow Shepherd's Hut with Hot TubJul 2022

Such an amazing stay! It was me and my boyfriend's 2nd time away and this was a great stay, everything you need to bring was already included in the hut like cooking utensils etc. The hot tub was lovely and it was lovely to see the stars whilst enjoying a dip. Cheap wood for fire and just a very cosy stay, especially after stress.

Just perfect
