Campsite is lovely and secluded. Each plot is very quiet - great covered area for cooking / sitting, and fire pit with free firewood.

Small Tent - Wild Woodland Camping PitchesJun 2024

Lovely woodland camping. Quiet and peaceful. Each pitch has it's own rustic toilet and shower, which made for a fun back to basic experience and the shower was lovely and steams. Our pitch had a lovely tarp area, where there was a comfortable log/cushion sofa, picnic bench and fire pit. Best part was the free wood for the fire.

Fantastic place to camp

Large Tent - Wild Woodland Camping PitchesJul 2023

Kitewood Camping offers a fabulous woodland camp experience. The site was clean, well maintained and offered the peace and quiet we were looking for. The 'pitch' itself was spacious and offered privacy and access to the local woodland. The undercover picnic table and firepit offered a lovely space to unwind after a days adventuring around the Pembrokeshire coast. The private shower was toasty and the compost loo was great and offered real convenience in an eco friendly environment. We were greeted by Graeme on arrival and bumped into him a couple of times during our stay. He was very welcoming and helpful and he clearly cares a great deal about both his site and the experience that his visitors have. It's a great location for visiting the Pembrokeshire coastline - such as Strumble Head, Dinas Head, Marloes, Whitesands Bay and St David's. There are great beaches and bays, coastal walks and beautiful views with an abundance of wildlife whether your looking to catch up with seals, dolphins, puffins (Skomer - well worth a boat trip) or even the odd snake! It was great to know that after a day out we were going back to an equally beautiful camp. We stayed 1st week in July (before the schools break up) so Pembrokeshire was not at it's busiest - and neither was the was the camp - which suited us down to the ground. We would definitely stay here again - well worth it, great value for money - beautiful, peaceful and relaxing - loved it!
