Nestled just outside the Clwydian Range, Clwydian Glamping Pods and Campsite offers a peaceful getaway in the North Wales countryside. Tent campers are welcome on non electric grass pitches whilst those who prefer glamping can stay in one of the cosy camping pods, each with an ensuite loo, heating and fire pit for nights under the stars. Just 20 minutes from Moel Famau, enjoy days of walking and hiking or simply unwinding and admiring the views!

We just returned from our stay at Clwydian Glamping Pods and Campsite and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. The trip was myself and my husband and our young son. We hadn't been to a campsite with the little one before and thought maybe the pods/cabins would be a nice stepping stone to "proper" camping and we were absolutely right. Between the toilet, sinks, fridge, kettle etc in the pods and the separate shower block with extra toilets etc, the site had everything we needed. Raymond was an excellent host (Rose was away on holiday!) and we lacked nothing. Everything was super clean. The beds were comfy. You can take sheets/duvet/pillow with you or just a sleeping bag. There were 4 plug outlets you can use for any devices you can't do without. We took a fan as it was hot weather throughout our stay and the extra breeze was welcome when we were putting our son to bed while it was still daylight, but the pods have 3 windows that open (a 4th in the bathroom) so I am sure most people can manage without fans and stuff like that, it cools down quickly at night time if you open the door for a bit. I recommend to take marshmallows so you can toast them on the fire pit. There's a small fee for use of the fire pit and a sack of logs. If you have a portable BBQ you might want to take one if grilled sausages & burgers are a big part of your plans, but Raymond did have a spare one that none of the others had borrowed yet, so we got lucky even though we were disorganised! I really hope we can go back as we had a lovely holiday.

We loved our break in one of the pods. The site is small and is very quiet. Tucked away down narrow country lanes, it’s out of the way but near enough to travel to local towns like Llangollen and Ruthin. Some footpaths are near for exploring too. The amenities are excellent and everything was clean and tidy. Rose and Ray are a lovely couple and we would be very happy to stay there again.

Stayed for the bank holiday with my partner for 2 nights. Was absolutely beautiful location, very cheap, very clean and it is a nice place to just relax. Ray and rose were so friendly and helpful- would 100% book to stay here again soon.

I would highly recommend Clwydian Glamping Pods and Campsite. We stayed for 1 night in a tent and 2 nights in a pod. The location is in a peaceful setting with lots of walking routes near by. Very beautiful! The facilities are splendid and the best we have ever seen on a campsite. They were very clean and the showers are excellent! There is also a games room/social hub and a kitchen with everything you'd ever need. I would highly recommend Clwydian Glamping Pods and Campsite!

We as a family of 4 stayed for the weekend with our dog, such a beautiful little site. Cannot fault the site or the hosts, who were so helpful and really nice people. Our pod was clean and spacious very happy with it. The area itself was a bit secluded from what we would have liked as we like to adventure out with children and a dog. You have to drive out a fair bit to find things to do! The food at the pub which was a mile away was really nice would recommend. All in all tho such a lovely site, would definitely recommend for people who just like to relax and be away from it all.

Amazing experience! Thank you so much Ray and Rose for your fabulous hospitality! We were greeted on arrival and given a tour of the site. On arrival it was raining and Ray was on hand to help us dry the inside of our tent. The onsite facilities are really clean and well stocked and the showers are hot and high pressure with their own lockable cubicle for privacy. Ray came over both days to ask if we wanted a fire pit for the night. We paid £12 and received fire lighter, and a large amount of fuel that we could've had the fire going all night long. Thanks so much for making our experience at your site so enjoyable and we would definitely come again!
