Magical stay

Claire and Martin made our stay truly memorable. The bell tent is perfectly secluded in its own little wooded area, and a short walk up the mown path leads to a semi-private meadow with stunning views. We sat there until sunset and then enjoyed a fire beside our tent with the provided firewood. This has been our favourite campsite ever, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

A must visit!

Where do I begin? Claire and Martin are probably the loveliest people I've ever met, the location is beautiful, and they've really gone above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Dog friendly, clean, and delicious eggs each day from the free range rescue hens! I can't fault anything about our stay, they really have thought of everything and we will without a doubt be back!

Warmest welcome

Ok not high luxury but it's not meant to be and we loved it for that. Great setting. Lots of space. Quirky facilities and the warmest of welcomes. We did a one night stop and will go out of our way to stay again in future. Many thanks Martin and Clare, you have a wonderful plot there!

The owners were very friendly and helpful and they were keen to advise on the local attractions. The site is very quiet and dog friendly. The compost loo was clean and comfortable. A highlight for us is the beautiful meadow where our dog could run free. It is in very easy reach of the Botanic Garden of Wales, which is absolutely fabulous. The nearby town Llandeilo is lovely and the coast is handy for days out.

We have recently had a lovely two nights stay at The Swallows, for us the location was ideal to be tucked away in rural countryside but also able to go visit local attractions nearby! The four waterfalls are a must. The owners are super friendly and inviting and gave us tips, and even helped loan a tool to fix our van when we had an issue! The campsite pitch is ideal, with a stream nearby and on the evenings we took a stroll through their field with a wine to catch the sunset, we will definitely be back.

Fabulous location with access to a beach within half an hour. The hosts (Martin and Claire) do everything in their power to make your stay fantastic. Added to that, open countryside and free-range eggs make this an ideal getaway from the modern-day stresses.

A peaceful stay with perfect hosts and fresh eggs from the free roaming hens. We loved it and will definitely be returning! We loved staying at The Swallows, a perfect location with a fantastic beach within a half an hour drive. A tranquil and fabulous setting with only the sound of lambs and birds all around you and yet ideal for shops and good places to eat. Thank you Claire and Martin and see you again as soon as time allows.
