Woodview Caravan Site is situated in the peaceful Staffordshire countryside, within 30 minutes of Stoke-on-Trent and Alton Towers. The site offers just five hardstanding touring pitches, each with its own electric hook-up and water point. Nestled away from crowds, the site borders farmland with neighbouring animals and plenty of country walks nearby. Families and dogs are also more than welcome, with onsite dog grooming and walking available!

Great communication ahead of the stay from Claire who informed us that the Wi-Fi was unavailable and offered a full refund. We decided to stay anyhow and I am glad that we did. Peaceful, quiet site with only the birds and cows to be heard. Washing up area and toilet facilities that were spotlessly clean. Chap living on site was friendly and helpful. One of our neighbouring tourers broke down, husband and I tried to bump start the car up and down the park. When he saw us, he went and fetched jump leads for them to get them back up and running. Highlight of the stay and such a lovely touch were the 6 free range eggs that were delivered to our motorhome on the Sunday morning! Thank you Claire and all at Woodview for such a lovely stay! x

Overall good site, as we only have a campervan so we need the use of toilets and showers. There are 3 unisex cubicles, however one had no toilet seat, one wouldn't lock and the other the toilet seat was only fixed on one side. On a positive note water was lovely and hot. Just the one shower.

Great one night stop over at this small but well laid out site. Room for 8 vans with all the facilities you need. Great views of the local farm and farm life.

Great little site, very quiet and peaceful. There was about 4 or 5 caravans there, a toilet block and a washing up shed. 45 mins walk to a lovely pub. We went to relax and recharge our batteries and it was perfect! Great communication with owner prior to stay 👍

We just wanted a cheeky night away in our motorhome & booked Woodview. Only has 5 pitches, with EHU & water taps and a shed for washing up, with hot water, fridge & basic toilet/shower cabin. Site has waste point for chemical loos, so everything you really need. Lovely rural setting in the Staffordshire countryside. Booking was quick & easy, with Claire communicating details by email. Follow her directions, its called a hidden gem for a reason! If you're looking for a simple site away from the big camping parks that is really good value, I'd recommend Woodview!

Our first camp in our motorhome. Having previously had a caravan, we recently switched to a motorhome. Very small site, but that's what we wanted. A small toilet block and also a crock washing area. Claire has recently started a dog grooming business and we treated our pooch to a pamper. Excellent service! Plenty of quick responses to our messages and emails. We loved it 🥰

As the title says, if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful with very little around you except farmland, then this is the place. We arrived on a very frosty and cold evening at the beginning of December and there was no one else on the site! As the weather was so bad Claire (the host) very kindly ran us down to the local pub and picked us up again later, absolutely above and beyond :) The site itself is very small with 8 serviced pitches, a small toilet and shower block (we didn't use the shower so can't really comment) and a small separate wash area. We will definitely be going back when the weather improves. Paul & Ame.
