About Applecross Campsite

Applecross Campsite is a welcoming and friendly site suitable for the whole family, having been run by the Goldthrope family for generations. Previously awarded the David Bellamy Gold Award for environmental management it's the ideal place to get back to nature with an abundance of local wildlife. There is plenty of space for up to 60 tents and tourers in a camping filed that boasts fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and forest as well as the Isle of Skye. From grass pitches with the option of electric, perfect for pitching up a tent or parking the caravan or campervan, to hardstanding pitches for tourers both with electric and water hook up and without. Looking to avoid the unpredictable Scottish weather opt for one of 11 unfurnished camping huts. These fully insulated and heated pods sleep up to four, with mattresses provided and sockets for charging your devices. For an added touch of luxury with home comforts the site also offers static caravans. Sleeping up to six with two bedrooms and a sofa bed as well as a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and Smart TVs. Dogs are more than welcome. Barbeques are allowed as long as they are not directly near the tents and caravans.

Open from 1 March to 31 October
