Tudor Caravan Park is one of the best located caravan and campsites in Gloucestershire, situated alongside the Gloucester-Sharpness canal. It offers great access to the Cotswolds, with views of the Cotswold Hills in the background. The meadow has electric hook-ups on both hardstandings and grass pitches, open all year round, and is suitable for all types of tourers and tents. The Old Orchard area is an adults only area all year round. This is all hardstandings with electric hook-ups suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and RVs.

The site is well-equipped for camping with two shower and toilet blocks, including a 4-star facility which includes a laundry and baby-changing. There are two washing-up areas and guests have free use of the site freezer. Superfast WiFi is availale across the whole site.

There's a wealth of things to do in the area. Here are some ideas to get you started. The area features good fishing and easy cycling is to be had along the Gloucester-Sharpness ship canal.

Slimbridge Wetlands Centre is just 800 yards down the road from Tudor Caravan Park. The centre was started by Sir Peter Scott and is hailed as the birthplace of modern conservation.

The park is an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds - sited in the Severn Vale, along the Cotswolds Edge about halfway along the famous Cotswold Way running from Bath to Chipping Campden, with good access to some lovely unspoilt Cotswold villages and wider Gloucestershire.

Less than 5 miles from your base, the centrepiece of Berkeley is undoubtedly the magnificent 12th century Berkeley Castle with its dark and brooding bloodstained history. It is also the place where a humble village doctor made an amazing medical discovery.

The Severn Bore is one of Britain's few truly spectacular natural phenomena. It is a large surge wave that can be seen in the estuary of the River Severn, where the tidal range is the second highest in the world.

Gloucester (Glevum) was founded in AD 97 by the Romans and today combines historic architecture with a unique blend of visitor attractions, festivals and entertainment and shopping. The Historic Docks are England's most inland port and once a major destination for elegant tall ships.

The National Arboretum at Westonbirt is an internationally important tree and shrub collection and one of the finest tree collections in the world today with 17 miles of accessible paths. and spectacular natural shows in every season.
