This family-run, wild site sits near the southern tip of Dorset's Portland Peninsula, less than a five-minute drive (or a 20-minute walk) from the Portland Bill promontory and its red-and-white striped lighthouse. Great campsite and nice views which offers great walks! However, the on site toilets were terrible, dirty and full of spiders.

If all you need is somewhere to pitch your tent with absolutely amazing views this is the place! Really friendly owner. Bargain price. There was a few portaloos, rubbish and recycling bins. Field was a bit bumpy but just drive very slow. Was lush and peaceful. Brilliant place to explore Portland and Weymouth. Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back. Thanks very much.

Great little site, fabulous views. Really windy for the 3 nights we stayed. Access is a bit tight but was doable in a 7.4m motorhome, would be easier if the access slope was concreted all the way across. Easy enough to dispose of black waste but as there's only one tap, it was being used to rinse out cassettes as well as for drinking water, so not ideal.

A wonderful campground with great views of the ocean. Facilities are simple, just running water and portable toilets, but the place is awesome. Very friendly and helpful owners. The campground is right next to the coast path.

Festival toilets. No showers. It got cramped over the weekend as more and more campers turned up. Toilets could be better!

We don't advertise we have shower, so you can't expect to have them. We also advertise we only have portloo toilets

A great pop up site with fantastic views. The basics are there, water, refuse collection and a couple of portaloos. Easy access to the coast road for a lovely walk to the Bill and a couple of swimming locations.

Lovely location, beautiful sea view with coastal footpath. Basic campsite, slight slope, very friendly team managing the site. Portaloos clean. Perfect camping spot for a short trip.

Very basic but a great spot. A sloping grass field with a great sea view. The facilities are just a couple of porta loos. Open fires are allowed. Great access for walking and there is a pub within walking distance.

Very basic site. Portaloos is about it but they were clean. Magnificent location with the lighthouse sweep at night. Love it for for what it is. Simplicity. Nature. I'd love to come back with my bike again.

If you like back to basics, you can't fault this campsite. Great location, great price, clean toilets and evenings around a fire pit. What more do you need?

As described, it's basically a field with a drinking water tap and some portaloos, which was perfect. The ocean is a stones-throw away and it's really cool to be so exposed, that does mean however that there is 0 shelter from the wind - so be prepared. All in all perfect for our needs and very reasonably priced. Would've liked some more info on where to launch from for sea kayaking though.
