Huntick Farm Caravan Park offers adults (16+) and dogs a warm welcome to the Dorset countryside. Whether a tent, caravan or motorhome, this site makes for a great base with both grass and hardstanding pitches. The location couldn't be better with views of the surrounding fields and only 15 minutes to the seaside town of Poole. Enjoy the local wildlife with hedgehogs, deer and more spotted on site as well as the roaming free-range chickens too!

Toilet block very clean but unfortunately, the main ladies' and gent's toilets closed for maintenance on our last day, leaving everyone using one unisex toilet & shower. Campsite a little shabby looking, however it was nice and quiet. Walk to local pub is along a country road with no path or lights. Only 0.7 miles and pub was lovely but walk home in the dark was dicey! Exit road from site is very pot-holey. Reception lady was very friendly. Suited us for location to Blandford Forum and the Studland Stampede. We wouldn't rush back.

The site is has lovely views of the countryside, plots are a good size. Toilets are cleaned regularly. Woodland walk is lovely for dogs, albeit short, so we just went around a few times. We didn't see the owners at all. Site is no good if you are looking for action or want a shop, it is literally somewhere to park and chill. BBQ and campfires have to off the ground (rightly so). Extremely quiet place to relax and forget your woes. Dogs on leads makes it perfect place for nervous dogs. A bit pricey for somewhere with nothing but despite, that we will be returning many times! We loved it.

Lovely, peaceful, quiet site, large spacious grass pitches with optional electric hook up. Lovely wooded location with other beautiful views over the hills. Is very close to Poole and Bournemouth and good road links to further afield. Staff were very happy and helpful. Clean facilities (showers, toilets and washing up area). Will definitely return. It is worth noting that the entry barrier suspends between 11pm and 7am (to maintain the quite for other residents) you can still park your car in the car park and walk through but if you are travelling in a motorhome/campervan, this may be a deal breaker for some if attending late events.

Sadly, the electric on our pitch did not work and there was nobody to go and see about it. Reception closed before we had time to set up. The ladies toilets had no toilet paper at all in any of the cubicles. One of the two showers in the gents area had come off the wall and so had to be hand held as you showered. Not ideal. Think the campsite needs a little care and attention.

The grass area is well kept, although I thought the hardstanding areas could be more attractive. It is a little walk to the toilets and showers if you are on the main field and I suggest the owners make a cut through to make access quicker and easier.

What a great stay, adults only and a peaceful stay. A great location for exploring the local beach/harbour. We had a great Wi-Fi connection, which was very much needed. Clean facilities, friendly host, which we could buy eggs from 👌 Our only regret was not staying longer than two nights. But will most definitely be back here again. Brilliant 🙌
Great site, great facilities

Stayed for just one evening - which in hindsight was a bit of a shame, I wish we'd stayed a little longer. The site is very well maintained, the toilet and shower facilities were spotless. We pitched on grass with EHU and the pitch size itself was generous. We'd definitely go again and would recommend.

Great friendly welcome, taken to our pitch which was on a lovely flat grass area. Clean toilet & shower area, as was the washing up sinks. Walked up to the local village pub about a mile away, great food & very friendly 👍 very quiet campsite and when we returned, people sat out but no loud noise. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

We enjoyed the location and did not enjoy the site management of this location. The location of the park was perfect for us to explore the surrounding area, the main reason we chose the site. The serviced pitch was perfect for us as we could use the water and grey waste without the need to collect and remove water with our containers. The toilets were always clean and although we didn't use any of the showering facilities, these were always clean and available. If you are a late sleeper, after 10.00 am, whilst on holiday, this is not a site for you, as every day you will be woken by the grounds maintenance (lawn cutting, strimming). Whilst we were there, they were clearing an area of waste ground, and burning the waste. The other irritation is the burning of the rubbish on site which filled our caravan with a bad smell for days. On our final day, we were asked what wattage of power we had been using throughout our holiday in the caravan. They informed us, in an aggressive tone, that they considered our use of power to be high and that they were considering charging us for what they considered high use. They have a monitoring process that triggers an app to inform them of your power (and internet) use. So if you like to use the heating, lights, and fridge in the evening, this is deemed as high use. We left the site a day early to return home to be comfortable and without being monitored. Will not be returning to this site again and will not be recommending this site to anyone.

We came from Peterborough to this site and it was a very large pitch. We were guided to our pitch, with help from the cat, and we were very pleased. The site was clean, showers and toilets very clean and well kept, had a lovely week there with our 2 dogs and would like to return again next year with our caravan. Highly recommend this site for adults.

Nice site, very small. Staff friendly and helpful. The ANPR gate didn't open one evening, which was a pain. But otherwise nice place to stay in a lovely part of the country.

Thank you for your lovely review. Apologies for the gate not opening for you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you in the near future.

The weather was awful but the site looked after us and upgraded us to a hard standing, which was much more convenient.

Great location, fair price for the facilities. Very helpful owners-when we arrived later than expected. Just under 5 stars from me- as when I wanted a shower (admittedly at a strange time- 2pm) there didn't appear to be any hot water. Would be more than happy to return.

Nicely run small friendly site. It's flat so good for pitching. it's child free so should be quiet. Well supplied, with water and leccy on good sized pitches. Toilet and shower block kept clean. On the flip side, limited showers and limited space in their design made changing after difficult - hard to dry and keep clothes dry. There were a lot of dogs, most fine, but barking was an issue. Allowing people to drive through the barrier at night meant headlights and car doors were an issue. There was a lot of road noise at night and the road outside was fast and lacked a pavement, so walking to the pub wasn't very safe.
Peace & quiet

Excellent location just to the north of Poole, quick access to main roads to visit other locations. Just 30 mins from Swanage/Studland. Relatively small site which feels cosy - spotlessly clean and well-tended. Staff very friendly and responsive. Single circular grass field partly surrounded by trees which were nicely shielding from the breeze. Good distance from the people opposite and nearby water and grey waste drain. Nice toilet blocks with well-designed showers that include a bench seat away from the water flow! Why doesn't everyone do this? Shower water more than hot enough.Decent two-sink washing-up facilities with washing/dryers for laundry. To get 5 stars... We do not have a fridge so struggled with lack of ice-block freezing facilities, which would prevent us from having a longer break here. We felt the information hut could do with improvement with more leaflets, books and local information. For example, photocopies of nearby walks and cycle rides.
