Why you'll love it at Swallow Barn

About the site

Swallow Barn is located on the valley road that overlooks Loweswater. It's well situated for exploring the quiet Western fells, via both high and low level walks to nearby Crummock Water and Buttermere. It's also close enough to be considered a base for scaling Scafell Pike and other central peaks, as well driving out to the Solway coast. The camping barn has four sleeping areas and accommodates up to 18 people, with mattresses provided. There's also a cooking and eating area. All areas of the barn have electric lighting and ample parking is available to the rear. Sole occupancy bookings are welcome to bring dogs and arrange overflow camping.
