About the site
With the River Gwydderig running right alongside the glamping pods, this picturesque family friendly site is ideally located in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons and provides guests with a relaxing escape to the countryside! The site is home to four ensuite glamping pods, three of which are dog friendly and one of which has enhanced access. The glamping pods sleep up to four guests with a double bed and double sofa bed. Egyptian cotton bedding and towels are provided for the double bed only, but if you require bedding for the sofa bed this can be added as an optional extra. The pods have underfloor heating and double glazed windows and come with an ensutie bathroom, fully equipped kitchen area with a sink, fridge, gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Cooking basics such as oil, salt and pepper along with a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and Welsh cakes are provided! Inside is also a fold-out dining table, TV and DVD player with a supply of board games and DVDs. Outside guests can enjoy a private decking area with seating and views of the river. Each pod has a private parking space outside. The site is also part of a camping and caravan park where there are a range of grass and hardstanding pitches, and guests will have access to their facilities from a children's playground to a dog walking area! If you're hoping to explore the local area, there is so much to explore nearby with Brecon is a 30 minute drive away and the quaint town of Camarthen is a 45 minute drive! If you're hoping to bring your pup along, three of the pods are dog friendly, with one dog welcome to join you. For those after dinner al fresco, open fires and BBQs are only permitted in fire pits provided by the site. These are available to hire on arrival.
