The 3 Peaks Bunkroom is a cosy base within easy walk of village amenities and perfectly set up for Yorkshire's challenging walks at the Three Peaks or the Pennine Way. The bunkroom can be rented by the floor or entirely, so it suits large groups, perfect for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Guests can take in the Forest of Bowland or wander among the Yorkshire Dales and will find even the Lake District less than two hours away.
About 3 Peaks Bunkroom
A friendly site in the heart of rural Yorkshire, with excellent train access, ideally sandwiched between a number of beautiful walking spaces, from the Forest of Bowland to the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Staying here is very popular with fitness enthusiasts, who may be undertaking any number of walking and hiking challenges: The Pennine Way, Ribble Way, the Dales Highway and of course, the famous Three Peaks. The bunkhouse has two large dormitory-style bedrooms, each sleeping up to 20 people, so well suited to walking groups or youth expeditions. There are separate showers on each floor and a disabled bathroom on the ground floor, plus the chance to grab hot meals after long walks, in the pub next door.

Things to do on site and in the Settle area
A cosy and well-located spot, The 3 Peaks Bunkroom is an ideal place for walkers to take on the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks (over Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside) or the Pennine Way and then reward themselves with a hot drink or Sunday carvery at one of the local pubs.
There are also guided shorter walks in offer, such as around the lovely farmsteads of Ribblehead. As it lies within the limestone area of the Yorkshire Dales, the area around the bunkhouseis also popular with cavers, pot-holers and all nature-lovers.

Families will love the White Star Caves, the longest show cave in England and a chance to dive underground and hunt for treasure. Kids have a chance to see trained falcons fly at the Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre, and for the adults there's an opportunity to get creative and follow in Turner's footsteps by sketching in the Dales.
