With six camping pitches on the main site and two camping bays accommodating up to four people each, our campsite provides the perfect base for a holiday or overnight stay. Please note that while we warmly welcome tents, we are unable to accommodate camper vans or caravans anywhere on our site due to licensing restrictions. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are kept on a lead.

Why you'll love it at The South Dows Eco Lodge & Camping

About the site

The campsite sits within more than 50 acres of woodland and downland with beautiful scenery. It's owned by a charity and welcomes families, youth and D of E groups along with school groups and nature lovers. The majority of pitches suit a 4-man tent, but there are a limited number for 6-man tents, please enquire for these. All pitches are set on grass, without electric, and include a number of main campsite pitches with a couple of secluded camping bays. Fire bowls available in every pitch. There are three enticing yurts on site with furnished interiors, toasty stoves and comfy beds. Two sleep up to four or try the mini yurt with space for two.
