Nestled at the foot of Carrock Fell in the Lake District, Carrock Glamping Pods make the perfect destination for a walking or cycling holiday. The adult only site offers just three luxury glamping pods, each with cosy beds, ensuites, kitchens, heating, fire pits/BBQs and more. Enjoy days exploring the surrounding landscapes or nearby Ullswater and Aira Force Waterfall, with evenings spent soaking in your hot tub and taking in the glorious views!

Amazing stay in a cosy pod, beautiful views, well decorated. Great digital detox. It provided us with a perfect base to go walking. David was amazing and so helpful making sure our hot tub was ready every evening for when we returned. We will 100% be back again in the future!

I couldn't recommend staying here enough. David was super friendly and a great ghost even before we got there. Making sure the hot tub was ready before we arrived and on each day we were there. There are loads of hikes nearby, especially to Bowscale Tarn, which I highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Absolutely amazing place, hosts were great and ensured everything was sorted for us. Hot tub was amazing to sit out under the stars in. The pod itself is kitted out with cosy luxury and everything you would need for a relaxing break away. The view to sit out and look at is also stunning.

My sister and I enjoyed such a peaceful stay at Carrock Glamping Pods! The setting is idyllic, set on a farm in the middle of nowhere with just miles of countryside and sheep around! There was limited phone signal and no Wi-Fi, which we loved as it make us appreciate the surroundings even more. You have views of Carrock Fell from the pod and hot tub, as well as sheep in the neighbouring field. David was a great host and even lit the hot tub for us every evening, we just had to let him know what time we wanted it. This was much appreciated after our long hikes! The pods are spacious and perfect for two with a little kitchenette, en-suite, sofa area and games for evenings in. Thanks David for such a relaxing stay, we hope to be back!

Lovely pods, very spacious and all the amenities you need. Lovely views and great walks local to the pod. 20 mins outside of Keswick if you wanted to have a drive in. Owners are really friendly and helpful, the owner would give you their number so you can message them if you need anything. Started our logs up so our hot tub was warm and ready to get in when you get back from your day out. All in all, a great location, lovely & clean pods & super helpful friendly owners. Would 100% go back, had an amazing weekend!

What a wonderful glamping location. The pods are equipped with everything you need and the location is out of this world. Nature right on your doorstep. The pods exceeded all expectation and provided the rest and relaxation that we all need from time to time. David was very welcoming and made sure out stay was perfect. The pods are super clean, comfortable & a real treat. You can tell lots of love & care goes into the site and we would definitely return.

Had the most wonderful stay in the pod. So peaceful and quiet, yet full of adventure. The beds were clean and cosy, the space was just perfect for us to chill and relax in. The area is quiet but the views are amazing and there are plenty of walking routes to take. David was very attentive and kind always making sure our hot tub was warmed and ready. Will return next year for sure!

A beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay in the squirrel pod. It had a king size bed, a lovely hot shower and a small kitchen that you could cook in. The hot tub was lovely and welcoming after a long walk. The host David was there to greet us and to see us off after our break. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends. 5 star for cleanliness, the pod was spotless.

First time staying in a pod. Lovely welcome by David, a great host. Everything you need for a short stay. Would advise you to take your own milk, but tea and coffee are supplied. The location was perfect for walking, with plenty of trail choices. The hot tub was great on the cool nights too. Will be returning later in the year for sure, a real hidden gem.

We stayed here for my birthday and it was so lovely! Although we came mid storm/strong winds, it was still amazing. We took a walk from the pod for 4 miles and it was lovely to see all the animals about! We would definitely want to come back when we can visit the alpacas!! The pod is lovely & spacious, only thing would be the floor being very cold but getting in the hot tub solves the cold feet! David was so accommodating and friendly. It was just what we needed and the no Wi-Fi was a blessing as it allowed true quality time together!

Fabulous stay in the Squirrel pod, a lovely quiet site with just 2 other pods. Beautiful scenery on the doorstep which can be admired as you sit in the hot tub and relax. After a cold and windy day out walking, the hot tub was ready for us returning. Couldn't fault any part of the stay, highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our pod. Spotless, everything you required and much more. The site was in a perfect location. The owners were very professional and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was an added bonus. The host organised the timings perfectly for the tub to be at the required temperature. Added extras were delightful. Biscuits, tea, sugar, coffee and board games.

A well needed, peaceful retreat. Star gazing in the hot tub and bonfire at night were the highlights of the trip. Caretaker is also very friendly and helpful.

On arrival, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pods felt very exclusive - a private location overlooking a stunning view, the hot tub also. This is an ideal location to be based to enjoy a luxurious and peaceful night away, and close enough to travel to the popular lake tourist destinations. The pod was above expectation in terms of facilities - we had everything we needed in terms of kitchen and living space, which is very spacious. The outdoor space is well designed with lighting for outdoor dining and seating. We loved staying here and would want to stay again.

An amazing little getaway for anyone wanting to switch off from the outside world for a bit. Facilities are top notch, accommodation is excellent and the views are stunning. There is no Wi-Fi but in the end, why would you want it when you have such amazing scenery and a number of activities within half an hour's drive.
