Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

An excellent place to explore the slopes of Helvellyn. A very busy working farm,, that provides clean and very adequate facilities, one for the adventurous who want to be out walking the hills during the day, and too tired to notice traffic from the occasional car during the night. The road is busy during the day. A great hotel and pub is at the side of the site, for food and drinks, but make sure book., it does get busy. If. I should Iwant to explore that area Again I would be more than happy to stay at the site.. It had Hard standing with hook up, and with our own water supply..

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

Facilities are basic but very clean, showers are nice and warm. Campsite just off the main road, which can be noisy in the early hours. Surrounding area is very scenic, Keswick close by and easy to access by but bus if deciding not to drive (parking can be busy in Keswick). Pitches are ideal with power and water at hand, toilets, showers and washing up facilities a short walk from pitches. Local Inn/bar next door ideal for an evening meal.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesAug 2024

Stayed only for a short weekend, but arriving was easy to navigate. Friendly owners who were very helpful. Love a smaller scale site, plot space was good easy access to your water tap and electrics. Having pub next door was very handy after a day hiking (gets busy advised to book yourself a table) and bus stop right outside site was good for those not wanting to move the van once all set up. Loved having the walking routes and the infinity pool from the site was wonderful. Toilets and showers basic but they were kept clean throughout the stay. What more can you ask for? Wi-Fi not on site, and signal not the greatest, so good for those wanting to disconnect a bit but won't be good for people wanting to stay online whilst they are there. If you're eating and drinking at the pub they do have Wi-Fi you can use if needing to connect phone/watches to routes to get GPS. Thank you for our amazing stay.
