About Calloose Holiday Park
Set in a beautiful estuary, Calloose is a popular family park with fantastic amenities and camping, touring and glamping options. Grass pitches are available, with water and 16 amp electric. There is also a set of smart hardstanding pitches perfect for your tourer. Take a dip in the heated swimming pool, sunbathe on the terrace, have a drink in the bar or a coffee in the cafe lounge. For the younger children, there's a paddling pool and a fun adventure playground too. Home to wildlife and flowers and lots of green spaces, it's a fantastic holiday park to relax and unwind. The park also offers static caravans and lodges for hire.
Calloose Holiday Park is open from 23/03 to 30/09 in 2024 and from 04/04 to 30/09 in 2025.
Facilities include two modern toilet blocks with showers and family bathrooms, on site payphones, fully equipped launderette, clubhouse, an outdoor heated swimming pool with paddling pool and free WiFi. Gas is available on site and a battery charging service is also available.
Other site amenities include a multi sports court and a games room with pool tables, a table tennis table, arcade games, driving games, and gift machines.
You can stock up on essentials at the onsite shop (open seven days a week in the summer) and dine out at the restaurant.

We stayed onsite in a camper and wanted to visit as many beaches as we could within the 2 days we were in Cornwall. The location is perfect and central. The facilities are great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great if you have young kids as well.

We first arrived at Calloose and were allocated our pitch, when we got to the pitch I was worried it wasn't quite big enough. I went to reception to explain and they were really accommodating, they came straight over and looked at the pitch and offered to move us to a larger pitch which was much better! Everyone working at the site was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made the holiday even better to be honest. The kids loved the swimming pool, playground and arcade area. It was great that you didn't have to book slots for the pool and it was open 10am-6pm which gave them plenty of time to access it (which they did every day!) The layout is really good as the restaurant/bar area sits central to the pool/playground so you can sit in the outside area and watch the kids while you enjoy a drink! Each night had different entertainment on, such as karaoke, bingo and live singers. Again, the kids loved taking part in the bingo & karaoke in an evening! The site was in a great location, not far from St Ives but also only 30 minutes to Perranporth and other locations. Overall, we had a great stay! Our kids loved it and as we left, asked if we could return again next year!

Things to do on site and in the Hayle area
There's a heated swimming pool and tennis court, whilst for children there's a separate children's paddling pool and an adventure playground. The lounge bar is the perfect place to have a drink with numerous varies of gin, rum and Coctails, and you can relax on the sunbathing terrace.
Just down the road is an equestrian centre, and in the other direction you will find a trout fishery. Just fifteen minutes drive away is the sandy stretch of Gwithian Beach, which is great for surfing and swimming.
Hayle surrounds a beautiful estuary near St Ives Bay which is ideal for watersports, walking and wildlife spotting and has lots of cafes and restaurants. Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden are only a 25 minute drive away. You can also join the South West Coast Path in Hayle.
