About the site


This small glamping site is set in the beautiful Ceredigion countryside, just 15 minutes from the coast and Aberaeron. The glamping site is ideally suited for couples or families wanting a peaceful breakaway. Two glamping pods are available, each sleeping up to four people with a cosy double bed, a double sofa bed and bedding (sleeping bags for the sofa bed). Each of the pods has an equipped kitchenette with a hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and fridge. You also will have your own modern ensuite, lounge area with a TV and DVD player. Outside you can enjoy lakeside views from your al fresco dining area which comes with a BBQ and a private hot tub! Please note, guests need to bring their own towels for the shower/hot tub. One dog is welcome in the Rose pod too

Each pod has its own ensuite bathroom with a toilet, shower, sink and heated towel rail. Outside is also a private hot tub.

For those after an evening tipple, the nearest pub is Rhos Yr Hafod which is a five minute drive. For grabbing the essentials, there is a Premier a 15 minute drive away.


A note from the site themselves...

We are a small family run site, looking to provide our guests with an enjoyable stay. The site has achieved excellent reviews and we are always looking to improve and provide value for money.

The two pods overlook the small lake where herons, kites and other wildlife can often be seen. The pods have been spaced to provide as much privacy for our guests as possible.

We enjoyed our stay at Pentwyn. The location was great, giving us the chance to relax in the peace and quiet. The pod was well maintained and clean. The kitchen (with hob) and bathroom was a good addition. The hot tub was a huge bonus.

Absolutely lovely place to stay! So peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view, the pod was fantastic! Double bed, double sofa bed, TV and dvd player (good selection of dvds) hobs, fridge, microwave, kettle, shower, toilet, sink, heater, cooler, chairs and table, bbq. So many utensils and necessities I didn't expect and hot tub was amazing! Great value for money! Would highly recommend. Definitely plan to return, 10/10

FAQ

You are welcome to check-in between 2pm and 9pm, check out is then due by 10:15am on your final day.

Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay between October and January in the Rose Pod.

BBQs are allowed, but they must be raised off the ground.

You are welcome to use the hot tub all day. The site does please ask that there is no smoking in or around the hot tub, and please shower before entering to rinse off any creams or makeup. No fake tan is to be worn is the hot tub too. Please also avoid using glass or sharp objects near the hot tub, if this arises then the hot tub will need to be drained, fully cleaned and could result in not being used for the rest of the stay.

You will also be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out by the sea. Aberaeron Beach (15 minutes) is a peaceful location with a pebble beach, ideal for a day of swimming or relaxing on the shore. Other local beaches include Aberystwyth Beach (25 minutes), North Beach (25 minutes) and New Quay Beach (30 minutes).

If you stashed mountain bikes in the car, take them over to Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, 40 minutes away, to tackle the trails through the forest. Binoculars will come in handy here, for spotting red kites, also keep them to hand when you head coastwards to Cardigan Bay (50 minutes), a popular playground for dolphins and other marine wildlife.

The Silver Mountain Experience is a must-visit attraction just 40 minutes away. Explore the Black Chasm, a thrilling underground experience, or step back in time on a guided mine tour to learn about the lives of miners who worked here. For families, there are interactive trails, gem panning, and a play area!
