About the site
A small site with an attractive setting, set along the edge of the national park and only a half hour from Alnwick Castle, one of the filming locations from Harry Potter. Wildlife enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice here, with roe deer grazing in the grounds and a range of birds of prey to spot too. The protected hay meadows in the upper valley host a variety of wildflowers, insects and birds too. Both large and small tents are catered for, with electric available. There are also pitches for campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Clennell Hall also offers bunkrooms, sleeping up to twelve in two separate rooms, and ten hotel rooms to suit those keen for a little luxury. Don't miss Rocky's Bar for a great night out, with home cooked food, a range of drinks and select evenings of live entertainment. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.

The picturesque village of Alwinton is just on your doorstep here and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Less than a five minute drive away at the heart of the community is the Rose and Thistle pub, serving locally sourced dishes and a range of drinks.
