This multi-awarding winning park is ideal for walking and touring, only a five minutes' walk from the centre of Newcastle. It's the perfect base for outdoor adventurers taking on the Mourne Mountains, with hiking, cycling and rock climbing all practically on your doorstep! Touring caravans and motorhomes are welcome for short or seasonal stays. All pitches are hard standing with 16 Amp electric hook-ups, mains water and grey waste water disposal point, with level bases and lots of space for families. Static caravans are also available to rent, situated to make the most of the stunning views of the Mourne Mountains. These sleep 6 people across three bedrooms and offer full private, kitchen, toilet and shower facilities in centrally heated comfort. Some are also available for sale.

We do not accept tents.
No football or team sportswear is permitted on site.
Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Gates are open from 8am-11pm.
Check in from 2pm.
Check out by 12pm.
Things to do on site and in the Newcastle area
Located at the base of Slieve Donard, some of the top Mourne Mountains activities in the area include hiking and cycling in the stunning scenery. Rock climbing across the 20 crags in the range is an adrenaline rush, too. You're staying close to an area of incredible natural beauty that features all the best outdoor pursuits.
You can also book horse riding beside the Irish Sea and there are treks to suit all ability levels.
The town of Newcastle has recently benefitted from a multi million pound upgrade which makes it a high quality seaside attraction for all the family. Renowned for it's temperate climate, Newcastle is a lovely place to wile away the day, especially at the Royal County Down Golf Links.
The area is known for its sandy beaches, tranquil forest parks, famous Tropicana heated open air pool and beautiful restaurants. Spend the day sunning yourself on a crisp beach or ramble in the nearby forest.
