About Long Meadow Campsite
An ideal location to switch off and reconnect with nature. The family friendly site is within a 30 minute walk of the quaint village of Brockenhurst where ponies and donkeys still roam the streets, and a short five minute drive from Lyndhurst, the capital of the forest. For tents and tourers, the site offers a range of 9m x 9m pitches, each allowing up to six guests. Simply choose between grass and hardstanding, and whether you require an electric hook up. Pitches will then be allocated prior to your arrival. If glamping is more your style, there is a selection of bell tents and pods on offer. Each of the three bell tents can accommodate up to two adults and two children, kitted out with a double bed, two single futons, LED lighting, a cool box, cutlery and crockery. Outside you will also have your own private fenced garden with a coal BBQ and picnic bench. Each of the pods also comes fully furnished, with the two person pod including a kingsize bed, and the three person pod including a kingsize bed, with one single futon for a child. You will also be provided with lighting, a small fridge, a kettle and an electric point for charging. Outside is a BBQ and picnic bench. Please note, bedding and cooking equipment are not provided in the glamping units, so you will need to bring your own. Guests can also bring along a BBQ, as long as it is raised from the ground, and bricks are available to use onsite. They must however be out by 9pm. Although the glamping units must remain pet-free, four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay elsewhere on the campsite, with up to two permitted per pitch. With direct access to miles of walking routes, they will be spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring!
