Set on the border of Devon and Cornwall, Whitsand Bay Fort is your base for family friendly adventures in the South West. Whether you're pitching up on a non electric grass pitch, or unwinding in your luxurious lodge, the site is sure to act as an idyllic relaxing retreat. Enjoy days out at the beach or splashing around in the swimming pool, and evenings admiring the sea views from the site!
Situated on the Cornwall and Devon border, the perfect base for exploring the South West
Stunning sea views from vantage points, just a ten minute walk from a sandy beach and surf school
Great onsite facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool and a bar/restaurant
The campsite is nestled into the unspoilt landscape of the Rame Head Peninsula. It was once an area of coastal defence and is steeped in fascinating history - with cannons that lie along the cliffside and many secrets to discover within its architecture. For those travelling on foot, there are smaller hiker pitches for two man tents. Each of these grass pitches comes without electric. Tent campers, caravans, campervans and motorhomes can opt for a fully serviced grass pitch. Allowing up to four guests (maximum 6 per pitch), the pitches are equipped with electric, water, grey waste and chemical waste points. These lovely spacious pitches are great for those wanting to set up outdoor furniture. Pitches are either grass, gravel and grass or fully gravelled pitches, please specify your preference when booking. The site also has 12 fully serviced hardstanding pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups, a separate Elsan point and and water taps. Allowing units of up to 6m x 5m, and with an adjacent parking space. These are closer to the shower and toilet facilities. If it's a bit more luxury you're after, there is a lodge with hot tub. Perfectly perched above the camping area this lodge has unspoilt views across the sea. The perfect spot to relax and watch the stunning sunsets. Each cabin-style bedroom comes with a king or twin bed, tea and coffee-making facilities and a wet room. You are welcome to bring up to two four-legged friends along with you. Please note, sea views are from vantage points on the park, not the pitches.
Whitsand Bay Fort Holiday Village is open all year round.
