About Castle Farm Campsite

This tranquil family friendly site is situated in the heart of the Somerset countryside with incredible views stretching towards Glastonbury Tor. Explore the surrounding rural landscape or enjoy a day at the seaside, as Berrow Beach is just 25 minutes away. There are ten grass pitches for campers and tourers alike, all of which have electric hook up and are set around the edge of the field. There is one refurbished shepherd's hut for two people, complete with a double bed with linen, small kitchenette with a hob, toaster kettle and microwave and an original French pot belly wood burner. Additionally, the two lodges are great for bigger groups of up to six people. There is a king sized ensuite bedroom, additional double bedroom and a kids bedroom with a set of bunk beds. There is an additional wet room for communal use downstairs. The kitchen and dining room area is very spacious and fully equipped. Outside you'll find a private patio with the added luxury of a hot tub. A perfect base for exploring nature with lots to do nearby. The site has its own naval sea harrier jump jet that flew in the Faulklands war that they love to show off to budding historians! Dogs are allowed but please keep them on the lead as to not disturb the resident llamas.

Facilities and amenities

Onsite facilities include a toilet and shower block with six toilets and three showers. There is also an outdoor washing up area, communal fridge freezer and recycling bins.

Wedmore village is less than a ten minute drive away, where you'll find Hectors Farm Shop, perfect for basic supplies. The Post and Wicket pub is on route to the village, just a five minute drive away.
