Why you'll love it at Shillingridge Glamping

About the site

At Shillingridge, the owners have worked hard over the last three years to create a natural haven. The two large canvas safari lodges onsite are equipped with everything you could ever need or want for a getaway. You'll find luxurious linens, towels, warm rugs and hot water bottles in your safari lodge, as well as a fully stocked kitchen with some raw local milk for a nice cuppa when you arrive. The unique wood burning stove/oven will be stocked up for evening warmth and cooking. Each glamping lodge can sleep six, with one double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a super cosy double cabin bed, comfy sofas, plus a family dining table and chairs. The lodges also have their own gas BBQ and a stash of board games to entertain your family and friends. And the bathrooms are no less extravagant. Each with a roll top bath, why not roll up the window for a glorious view into the flower woods behind. You'll also find a proper hot water shower, a separate sink and flushing toilet. The bathrooms are at the rear of the lodges. In the evening, enjoy a sunset from the deck as you relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the stunning hills while your very own Kadai fire pit dances and crackles below. This is also a horse friendly glamping site with superb bridleways available. The site is also happy to provide you with a picnic saddlebag, hay and a safe place to put your belongings for your horse. Please note, this site is pet free.
