About Gwalia Farm
Nestled just south of Aberangell village, experience wilderness at this glamping cabin on a small family-run farm. Enjoy the isolation, the dark sky at night, the wildlife and the quiet waters of the cabin's lake. Embrace the surrounding nature, with the site owners a short distance away to help with any inquiries. This tranquil glamping cabin is furnished with a cosy wood burner and double bed, with an outdoor cooking and dining area - all undercover in case of rain! A wood-fired hot tub is also at your disposal to relax and bask in the woodland's calm. Eco-friendly facilities ensure that this stay will be as in-tune with nature as possible! The site has its own spring water supply, and an outdoor cooking fire is set up. Bags of firewood, kindling and firelighters are for sale. The farm includes a beautiful vegetable garden - whose produce is often preserved and sold for visitors to try themselves! Say hello to the onsite animals including a flock of chickens, farm cats, and occasional pigs. There are also plenty of wild animals around - red kites, and buzzards are regular visitors, as are badgers and otters. Bags of firewood, kindling and firelighters are for sale.

The nearby Dovey Valley Hotel is the perfect place for pub classics, and a local gem. If you want to investigate the local area, the picturesque villages of Aberangell and Glantwymyn are only a short drive away
There are many stunning walks in the area to enjoy and explore, including:
- The Precipice Walk - this is a circular walk with stunning
- Bwlch y Groes - this is the highest road pass in Wales
- Torrent Walk - a fairly gently 2.5 mile walk along side a river and waterfall
- Barmouth Railway Bridge - a gentle and flat walk
You can also visit nearby Dolgellau - a lovely, picturesque town with markets on Thursdays.
