About Blossom in the Beans
This small glamping site provides a touch of luxury in the countryside. The Shackerstone Vintage Railway is a local delight, only a short walk across the field, with The Battle of Bosworth Heritage Site and the quaint village of Market Bosworth with boutique shopping and restaurants within a ten minute drive too. Unwind in one of the site's two luxury A-frame glamping cabins, each sleeping up to two guests on a cosy mezzanine bed where you'll be waking up to views across the surrounding fields. Each cabin also has its own country style kitchen with a hob, toaster, kettle, sink and fridge. Crockery, utensils, tea and coffee are also provided for your stay. A cosy living area with a sofa and dining table mean the pods are great for a cosy night in too. A hotel quality ensuite bathroom can be found at the rear of the pod. You will have a toilet, hand basin, toiletries, towels and even a roll top bath for a relaxing soak! Outside each of the cabins is a private decking area. You will have comfy sofa-style seating with a fire bowl for spending evenings stargazing and toasting marshmallows. A Lay-Z Spa hot tub provides the perfect place for watching the sunset. Meet the furry family of pygmy goats or say hello to Tanky, the cheeky Shetland. You can even go and collect freshly laid eggs to have for breakfast. For those who enjoy exploring, there is a lot to do. From leisurely country walks, to a visit to Twycross Zoo or if you're looking for something a little more exciting, Drayton Manor Theme Park is only a 30 minute drive away. Please note, that this site is dog free.
Blossom in the Beans is open from 11/11 to 31/12 in 2024 and from 01/01 to 29/11 in 2025.
Each glamping unit has its own bathroom, kitchenette and hot tub. Firewood is available to purchase, with outdoor games for hire too. There is a small menagerie of animals where you can meet pygmy goats, and a Shetland pony or collect eggs for breakfast.
The nearest supermarket is the Co-Op in Ibstock, a ten minute drive away. The Rising Sun, Shackerstone is a 15 minute walk away via a public footpath, with The Horse and Jockey, Congerstone also with a 30 minute stroll.

If you want to simply unwind onsite, there are a range of animals to meet. You can even go and collect your own eggs to cook up at your cabin!
The Battlefield Line (Shackerstone Station) is also only a ten minute walk across the site's field. The vintage railway offers a scenic journey through the countryside leading you to the Bosworth Battlefield.
Located just a ten minute drive away, Twycross Zoo is a great day out for all the family. Explore Grufflo Discovery Land, meet a range of exotic animals or cool off at the Wet'N'Wild splash play park.
