About the site

Surrounded by the spectacular Snowdonia mountain range, it's not hard to see why the owners have lived in this glorious location for more than 28 years. The site's four luxury glamping pods offer a stylish and idyllic base to take in the views and explore the area. Wake up in time for a sun rise over Carneddau before tucking into breakfast on your own outside decking area with a picnic bench. Step inside your pod and get comfy in the double bed while also benefitting from underfloor heating plus an ensuite bathroom. A fully equipped kitchenette includes a fridge, toaster, microwave, electric hob and oven along with all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you will need. The site also caters to family breaks, with a fold out settee ideal for the little ones. A travel cot and high chair are also available upon request. Bedding and towels are provided for the double bed, but if you're using the sofa bed please be sure to bring your own. A wall mounted TV is also included, along with indoor dining area with a table and chairs. On your arrival, a welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar and milk is in your pod to greet you. The site has a whole host of animals you can see grazing from your pod. From sheep and goats to hens whose fresh eggs you can enjoy for your breakfast. If you are staying in the Spring you will be just in time for lambing season! Please note, no dogs are allowed on the site. If you're hoping to enjoy dinner al fresco, the site provides you with a BBQ and all of the utensils you need from a grill to charcoal and bamboo skewers. Enquiries in Welsh are welcome.

Each glamping pod has its own ensuite bathroom with a toilet, shower and wash basin. WiFi is available in the pods. Guests are provided with an information pack in their pod which has details of all the best local attractions and eateries. You can even enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast from the site's hens.

If you're after an evening tipple, the nearest pub is Four Crosses which is a five minute drive away. For grabbing the essentials, Siop Newydd is the nearest shop and is a five minute drive away.

A note from the site themselves...

For over 28 years we have lived here as a family. We feel so lucky to have such amazing views over the Snowdonia Range and know that this is such a highlight for our guests! At our small site you have the chance to experience the Spring lambing period with us which is certainly a joy to watch!

From goats to hens and sheep we have many friendly animals for you to meet. We can't wait for you to join us!

Things to do on site and in the Penmynydd area

If you're hoping to hike up Snowdon then this site is a fantastic base. To take the Llanberis path up to the top, the starting point is just a 20 minute drive from the site, or if you're looking for more of a challenge, drive just 35 minutes to the start of the Miner's Track.

There are no shortage of great beaches nearby too, with Traeth Benllech beach a 15 minute drive away and the sandy shores of Traeth Lligwy just 25 minutes away.
