Suilven View Pod offers a relaxing glamping getaway with your own ensuite, hot tub and stunning views of the mountains and Lochinver Harbour. The modern, stylish pod features a high tech TV, cosy bed and kitchenette, a great base for you to unwind year round as you explore the Highlands and Scottish coastline. Ideally located for the NC500 and watersports at the sandy beach of Achmelvich Bay, just 15 minutes away.

The placing of the pod was obviously well thought out. Secluded, on the side of a gentle sloping rise, just the right size of trees in the garden around it. But still maintaining a clear understanding that the view from the veranda must be maintained. On entry, one was immediately struck by the fact that who ever planned this wonderful highland hideaway, was well versed in what a paying customer will find priceless. The heating was on, it was a cool Autumn afternoon. The electric fire was switched on, but only at that time only requiring the real fire effect, as the place was warm enough already. Another very welcome and a nice touch was that the Ice making Machine was also doing it's thing. A welcome Gin and Tonic was soon enjoyed after a few hours drive. The accommodation is very well equipped indeed. Almost every wish is catered for. As demonstrated by the adequately equipped Galley Kitchen. From the ubiquitous Ninja Air Fryer, to the dishwasher, Twin Induction hob, everything was provided to make less work and more time to enjoy the place and area. There was a lovely shower, large double bed and lets not forget the Hot-Tub! A tub with a view to die for. Parking just out from the garden gate and about a mile (1.5km) walk into Lochinver. However, even closer is a very well stocked store. So, in summary; If you don't need a MacDonald's just down the road or unbridled social entertainment, this is the place for you. I'm not even going to start to describe the scenery. One should come and see it in person.

We stayed for 2 nights but I wished we booked longer. The pod was so lovely, the hot tub was amazing, the bed was super comfy. It has such a homey feeling and has near enough everything you need. Will 100% be booking again and would recommend, the ice maker was a lovely addition.

It was lovely stop. A nice treat and having planned this since January, we had to book here. Shame about the flies but one got chimney going and they disappeared as they hate heat and smoke. Great facilities. Love the ice machine. Would definitely recommend a stop here if on the NC500. A spot of luxury. Great for one or two people. It was me and my brother and we enjoyed it and Lochinvar larder pie shop was not too far away. They are lovely and worth a stop. Robbie roams the NC500 pointed this out and it is worth it. In few years when do it again, we would come back for sure.

Just amazing, a little piece of heaven for me. My 10 year old and I completed the NC500 and this was a perfect location. From the ice maker, tumble dryer to all the little homely touches. Just wow. Thank you.

Lovely pod, fantastically furnished and set out, with everything we needed and more besides - apart from the hot tub. We arrived at 3.30pm after a long day's walking to find the hot tub water was cold. This was really disappointing as we'd been really looking forward to it during our NC500 trip, so to find it wasn't available hot when we arrived was a let down. We contacted the owner to be told it would be a few hours before it was warm, in actual fact, it was around 9.30pm before it was ready which wasn't really much good to us. It was a shame as the pod was otherwise excellent but this spoiled our stay.

Many thanks for your booking and thank you for your review Debbie, I do appreciate all my reviews. The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled every stay. The hot tub does heat at 2-3 degrees per hour, this is a standard for hot tubs given the relatively small heaters and large body of water. The hot tub does take longer in the winter months given the temperature of water out of the tap. When you called at 5:15pm informing me the tub was 30.0c, I let you know it would take another couple of hours to reach the optimum temperature. I heard from you that evening and the following day you said it was 36.0c at 715pm. 36.0c is a decent temperature and, I would imagine another 30 minutes and it would've been 37-38 degrees, which is perfect. As I know you have a hot tub yourself, I was sure you would understand. I was disappointed that you scored me 1 out of 5 for facilities. As well as the hot tub, I offer a SMART TV, ice machine, dishwasher, hob, microwave/oven, washing machine, tumble dryer and electric shower. Please let me know where I could improve.

Fantastic night just to step away from our campervan and relax in a little bit of luxury. The hot tub worked wonders for our aches and pains after our walk up to the bone caves nearby. Ben was the perfect host and even though we didn't need to contact him while we were there, his prompt replies ahead of our arrival assured us of his attention to detail. Thanks again for allowing us into your little place of happiness.

We stayed here as we were keen to climb Suilven and what a view it had! This pod had excellent facilities all to a very high standard and spacious, considering we had our two spaniels with us. Makes a change to be able to stay somewhere so luxurious with our dogs. We look forward to staying again in the future, great location!

We had a great stay in this little pod while driving the NC500. It's in a great location, very clean and cosy and the bed is super comfortable. The hot tub was a great addition, as was the ice machine and jelly bean dispenser! There are lots of great walks in the area, and the location of the pod itself is lovely and quiet. I wished we could stay longer and would absolutely recommend it to others.

This pod was amazing. The hosts have literally thought of everything and have utilised the space inside so well. The hot tub was a surprise as I forgot it was included. Brilliant stay. Wish I was there for longer. The view over the harbour was lovely, both during the day and night.
