About Glamping at Island Riding Centre
An ideal spot for groups and families, this glamping site on the Isle of Wight offers a great base for exploring. The ferry port is just a ten minute drive away, along with the coast and glorious beaches. All of the amenities of Newport are also only a five minute drive away too. Four of the safari tents can sleep up to eight guests, fully furnished with three separate bedrooms offering a king size bed and full size wooden bunk beds. There is a comfy sofa area, along with a full kitchen kitted out with a sink, hot plates, utensils and a fridge for all of your cooking needs. Each also offers two bathrooms, each with a loo and shower, and is fully lockable with UPVC patio doors with a key safe. For those with mobility issues, one of the safari tents has been specially designed with adaptations. There is a gravel path entranceway, with a ramp available too. The bathroom also includes a walk-in shower with ample space, along with an optional toilet frame. This safari tent can sleep up to six and offers a larger bedroom that can be configured as requested, along with a bunk room. This tent does have a traditional zipped entrance. Full electric, lighting and WiFi as well as hot running water can be found inside, with the option of hiring a portable fan heater (for a small extra cost) for those chillier nights. Please note, bed linen is included but guests will need to bring along their own towels. All of the tents feature their own private outdoor veranda/decking area with comfy furniture for dining al fresco. Guests will also have access to BBQs and fire pits, along with a communal fire pit with a grill and seating area. Two children's play areas and a football field, along with the farm animals will help to keep the kids amused! Please note, this site is pet free.

Each safari tent has its own ensuite and kitchen facilities. There are also BBQs and fire pits available, along with a central fire pit with a grill and communal seating area. There is also space for kids to play, with a fence for safety. High chairs/travel cots and portable fan heaters can be hired for a small extra cost.
GGs Bar and Restaurant is also onsite, with its own play area and bouncy castle in summer. Horse riding is available too.
Newport, home to a Marks and Spencer and Morrisons, is also within a five minute drive for grabbing any essentials.

Monkey Haven - Primate Rescue Centre is next door only a five minute walk away and ideal for wildlife lovers. Animals include owls, gibbons and lemurs, with informative talks and close encounters available too. Butterfly World is also just a ten minute walk away (off-road).
