About The Boat Shed

Ideally situated just a five minute walk from Lymington's bustling high street and on the doorstep of the boat yard for walks along the sea wall, wildlife spotting and views across the Solent. A great spot for families or couples with furry friends welcome too! The glamping cabin has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space inside, with a dining table and handy kitchen with floor-to-ceiling cupboards. The kitchen is equipped with a small convection oven, a sink, hob, toaster, kettle and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. The cabin sleeps up to three with a cabin style day bed that converts into a double bed for two, there is also a mezzanine space featuring a small double bed that is perfect for one, and can fit two but may be better suited for children as it would be snug! Outside is a separate bunk room sleeping up to two additional guests on single bunk beds which can be booked as an extra if you require the space. Set in a sheltered garden surrounded by mature trees, and with no WiFi you'll feel completely secluded. There is a veranda with a table for two or in the garden, there is a table for eight, ideal if you have guests over for a drink or nibbles! The bustling market town of Lymington is pretty much on your doorstep and can be accessed via the garden gate. This will take you into the boat yard where you can wander along the seafront, head to the gastro pub which is only a two minute walk away, or explore the high street just a five minute walk from your cabin. Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay, the garden is fenced so they can be let off the lead to run around. There are also plenty of coastal walks around the site for your dog walks. Please note that though the garden is fenced it may not be completely secure and that there is an extra charge for bringing your pup along. Bedding, linen and towels are provided. There are no highchairs or cots available but there is space in the cabin if you wish to bring your own.

The Boat Shed is open from 03/01 to 20/12 in 2024 and from 03/01 to 26/06 in 2025.

The nearest shop is a Tesco Express which is a 15 minute walk away, and the Mayflower pub and the Haven bar and restaurant are just a two minute walk away!
