Nestled on the edge of the York Moors National Park, Roe Deer Meadow at Carr House Farm is an enclosed meadow with apple and plum trees and stunning views of the Yorkshire Wolds. The site provides grass tent and touring pitches in spacious open fields and also two glamping bell tents, for a relaxed stay. With Clayton Bay Beach just ten minutes away, a seaside day out is a must, get involved in some surfing or paddleboarding.
About the site
Situated on a working beef and arable farm, this small, family friendly site is the perfect base for a peaceful seaside getaway. Just ten minutes from the site is Clayton Bay Beach, which offers stretches of golden sand, stunning views and watersport activities. This site provides spacious grass pitches in a meadow, one pitch type welcomes tents and the other is suitable for tents and campervans. If you are into your glamping, there are two bell tents, Foxglove and Elderflower. Both are equipped with a double bed, a futon, a fridge hook up and lighting. There are also log burning stoves and an outside firepit for al fresco dining in the evenings. Foxglove also has its own hot tub. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you on your stay, with one small-medium sized dog allowed per pitch. Raised BBQs and campfires are welcome onsite.

The Deer Hut
Max 2 people
The Deer Hut is a small and cosy cabin. With a decking area including outdoor seating and an outdoor shower, a double bed and bedding provided, electric blankets and heating and a coffee station.
Pear Tree Hut
Max 4 people
Pear Tree Hut is a larger Cabin with a decking area with outdoor seating and an outdoor shower, outdoor log burner and a fire pit with a grill for cooking. Inside is a double bed and bedding provided, electric blankets and heating and a coffee station.

If that isn't enough, Scarborough is 15 minutes from the site. Visit Scarborough Castle with expansive grounds and live events or stroll around Peasholm Park. There is also a beach and plenty of shops and restaurants.
