A note from the site themselves...

We dreamt of our little haven amidst the serene beauty of rural North Yorkshire. Leaving the city hustle behind, we found the perfect spot near our cherished places, nestled in our very own field, just for our gaming site. We got the green light from the planners in January 2019, and since then, we've been working round the clock to welcome guests with open arms.

Originally, we planned to call it Night Sky Glamping, inspired by the breathtaking night sky, away from the city lights. But fate had a surprise for us! One rainy bank holiday, while exploring the historic documents of our new home, Mount Pleasant, we stumbled upon a gem - a close of land known as Little North Field, rich with heritage and charm. So, back to its roots it went!

We're thrilled to share this slice of history with you. Can't wait to welcome you to our retreat soon, Catherine

Safari Tent - Owl's Hollow Safari Tent (Pet Free)Aug 2024

In 10 years of glamping in North Yorkshire, I can honestly say this was the best we have had. So much thought has gone into the small things that make glamping more comfortable, the tents are fabulous, the site is so pretty, it's quiet and secure, it's a great location for days out. Catherine and Tim were so lovely and welcoming - we highly recommend this site! Thank you for having us and for taking care of us so well.

One of the nicest places I've ever stayed, perfect in every way

Safari Tent - Foxes Den Safari Tent (Pet Friendly)Jul 2024

I'm so impressed with little Northfield glamping, we have had the best 5 days ever. The safari tent and the camp itself were absolutely immaculate, there was not one single fault. There were lovely little touches to see in every nook and cranny it is so well thought out. You get a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar, marshmallows and even a s'mores recipe which is so cute. I loved having a campfire every single night, everything you need is there to do so. All you really need to bring is yourselves and your clothes and shower gel. Towels are provided etc. I'm already looking forward to going again, the owners are lovely and helpful too and the whole place is so serene. Thanks for having us 😊 p.s -There is even a summer house filled with games and books which I thought was awesome and outside toys for children too.

Comfortable, clean, beautiful location & fantastic hosts!

Safari Tent - Owl's Hollow Safari Tent (Pet Free)Jul 2024

Our family of five spent two nights at Little North Field this summer. It was such a welcome sight to see our friendly hosts and gorgeous home for the next two nights, after a very long day of travelling. Catherine and Tim have thought of everything needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our kids loved the freedom of being able to explore and run around - much better than being cooped up in a hotel! It got a bit cold at night, but this wasn't an issue as there were blankets provided, hot water bottles and plenty of firewood for the fire. I am so pleased we found Little North Field, I have recommended it to friends and family and we would love to come back ourselves too.
