About Acres of Glamping

A great spot to combine relaxation with family fun. You can spend days meeting the animals and evenings unwinding in the outdoors. You can also make the most of the park facilities, with a fishing pond (extra cost), soft play, tractor rides, play area and even a cafe serving a delicious breakfast and lunch menu. There are just two bell tents onsite, each sleeping up to four in a double and two single beds. The tents are set up with cosy carpeting and rugs covering the floor to keep you all warm, and they are handily kitted out with bedside tables, blankets and electric points as well as central lamps and fairy lights. Comfy beds, linens and throws are also provided, as well as bean bags and cushions. Every tent has a mini-cooking corner with utensils and crockery, teas and coffees and a plastic butt for easy water transportation. Outside is a seating area and tables built around a fire pit/BBQ for that authentic camping experience. Included is the first basket of logs, and each tent has its own private parking spot and fenced-off garden with a compact decked area. Perfect for unwinding without worrying about the little ones. Basic entry to the animal park is included in your stay, and there are encounters with lemurs, Highland cattle, kookaburras, tortoises and capybara (among many others) to book… and not forgetting the park's star attractions - the handsome hybrid wolf/dogs. Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Glamping is available for weekends from April to July and then from 1st August to the 1st September.

Bell Tent - Bell TentsAug 2024

The bell tents are overpriced in my opinion, and I feel like I have stopped in far better for the same money. The mattress on the pallets is the most uncomfortable I've ever tried to sleep on. Honestly, it's like sleeping on bricks, so hard. The actual camp is fine and the staff we met where fantastic, so defo go again but not in the bell tents 👍

Bell Tent - Bell TentsAug 2024

Stayed for 2 nights first time glamping. Myself, husband and a 20 month old. The tent was lovely and clean, had everything that you would need. Lovely place to stay very peaceful. Loved hearing the wolves howling at night and first thing in the morning. A little park on site for the little ones, plus a bit of green if you wanted to play ball games. Free entry to the farm. Tractor ride was fun and amazing, as well as meet and greet with some animals. Asda is a 3 minute drive (also has a McDonald's inside) and a minute up the road is a B&M and The Range. Really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return. Only downfall is that the toilet and showers are about a minute walk from campsite into the farm, which is fine in daylight but spooky at night-time.

Had a great time

Bell Tent - Bell TentsMay 2024

First class hospitality. Great park. Bell tent was fully equipped with all you need. If we wanted more, we asked and we got. Friendly Fred looked after us and guided us on attractions in the area and where to eat, buy food etc. Nice stay all around and very comfy. Will definitely go again and recommend 👍🏼
