About the site

If you are searching for a rural escape or somewhere to unwind, this tranquil glamping site could be the perfect spot. Surrounded by farmland and unspoilt views of the Lomond Hills Regional Park, it is a glorious location to recharge and watch the world go by. The glamping bothy sleeps up to two guests in a cosy double bed with Egyptian cotton bedding to ensure a wonderful night's rest. In the open plan living area, you will also find a sofa, WiFi and a TV with access to Amazon Prime for your evening's entertainment. If you want to cook up something tasty, there is also a kitchenette area which comes with a fridge and all of the essential utensils and crockery. For your breakfast, you will even be supplied with fresh eggs from the free range onsite chickens. You will also have a modern ensuite which comes with both bath robes and towels. The cabin is fronted with fully glazed double doors, which leads out to a private deck area with outdoor furniture. Outside, you will also find a fire pit and grill, great for cooking up a BBQ, along with a hot tub, the ultimate spot for stargazing in style! Please note this site is pet free.

The glamping cabin has its own private ensuite and kitchen facilities along with a hot tub. Tea and coffee are also provided, along with the site's own free range eggs for breakfast.

Loch Leven's Larder is a five minute drive away with a food hall, bakery, deli, and cafe. If you are in search of a pub, the Balgedie Toll Tavern is just a 15 minute walk from the site.

A note from the site themselves...

Our wonderful glamping site is located on our working farm. The farm is a Scotch Assured Beef and Lamb Enterprise, meaning that we rear our livestock to some of the highest welfare standards in the world. Please ask if you would like a farm tour and we will try and accommodate where possible.

From the furry Highland cattle to Swiz Valais Blacknose sheep you will be sure of a friendly farm welcome!

Things to do on site and in the Kinross area

Being just ten minutes from Loch Leven, a wander around the Loch Leven Heritage Trail is a must. Enjoy wildlife spotting, seeing Lochleven Castle and even seeing the planes from the neighbouring Scottish Gliding Centre.

The neighbouring Lomond Hills Regional Park is also perfect for anyone wanting to get out on foot or by bike. The stunning nature reserve plays host to reservoirs, waterfalls, hiking trails and a great range of resident wildlife.

If you are happy to go a little further afield, the capital city of Edinburugh is just a 50 minute drive away. Discover cobbled streets lined with boutiques, museums, galleries and plenty of delicious eateries. Be sure to also visit the famous Edinburgh Zoo and Edinburgh Castle.
