About Lowther Holiday Park
Lowther Holiday Park is set in over 50 acres of beautiful woodland managed, nestled in the Eden Valley, just 2 miles from the M6, Junction 40. It has also been recognised for its superb standards with an AA 5 Pennant award, 5 star Visit England Holiday Park award, and the David Bellamy Gold award. Accessed from the picturesque village of Eamont Bridge, the holiday park has a mile long new laid tarmac private drive, lined with mature trees, and the long and winding Lowther river, where you can fish for Salmon and Trout or just wander along right through the season accompanied by the native red squirrels, wild rabbits and wild birds. While the site is predominately luxury lodges and holiday homes, there is a limited number of exclusive touring, seasonal touring, tent and pod pitches, set in a small accessible touring caravan and camping field and woodland area. On site there is a lovely family run restaurant and bar, with Sky Sports and summer outdoor entertainment. A fully stocked Mini Market, which also supplies essential camping equipment and gas. The park has a some fantastic attractions close by including a quiet and relaxing river and woodland walk to Lowther castle, which is just next door.

Site rules and policies
We are a lovely quiet, relaxing and safe family run park, and as such don't accept large groups, noise after 11pm or commercial vehicles.
Things to do on site and in the Penrith area
Make the most of the site's location on the Lowther Estate too and pay a visit to Lowther Castle. Wander through its ruins and exhibitions before tucking into a picnic in the pretty gardens. There is an adventure playground for the kids to enjoy too.
Lowther Holiday Park is surrounded by beautiful locations such as Penrith, the historic market town and castle, along with Beacon fell, Ullswater, Haweswater, Askam and Pooley Bridge. Situated just a mile and half from the A66, you'll have easy access to both the Lake District and also Yorkshire Dales, as well Hexham, Barnard Castle and beyond!
