Metal Bridge Pods is set on the grounds of a country pub just North of Cumbria. Five pods cater to all types of travellers whether you're solo, with a loved one or with your family. Kids from 3+. Each has comfy beds, seating and fairy lights, outside is a patio with a table and chairs. The Metal Bridge Inn offers drinks, food and a good atmosphere! Great for exploring both Cumbria and the Lakes as well as the Scottish borders. Dog friendly too.

We had a great weekend stay here. The price is more than reasonable in comparison to other, similar pods. Communication up to and during the stay was really good and efficient. The pod itself is spacious and the outdoor decking is an added bonus. The on-site pub is very reasonably priced and all staff are friendly and welcoming. The toilets were ok facilities wise, but did appear to be a bit dirty at times. We had a problem with charging electronics, but it was sorted within 10 minutes of me contacting them. My only slight criticism is the charging situation. We had 3 batteries, with several plugs, directly next to a diesel heater and no fire extinguisher close by. Overall, a really great stay.

We had a week in Scotland in a campervan and this was our last stop on the way home so we decided to have a break from the van and booked a pod. Really spacious and warm, and the enclosed patio was a bonus so the dogs could relax. Didn't know we had to book for a meal, but they were very nice and squeezed us in. Food was delicious and very reasonable and we even got a box of meat for a nominal fee for the dogs. Lovely place for a stop off north or south. Only downside was that the shower was in the pub, so couldn't have one in a morning, but other than that can't fault it.

Lovely clean little pod. Very reasonable price and lovely views looking over a field. Pub on site is terrific value and has tasty food. Only minor negative is some road noise, but then we had to keep the window open as it was a very hot day! Overall happy with our stay, thanks 😊

A very comfortable pod. Clean and cosy. The staff were excellent. I had a minor problem with the solar, but this was dealt with. It was great to have the Inn close at hand for some lovely meals and showers. I will return!

A brilliant stay that wasn't too far away from Gretna or Carlisle. The pods were cute and out of the way, they overlooked a gorgeous field. It was so cheap, we will definitely be going back. Hopefully with friends.

Found Metal Bridge pods when looking for a last minute night off. The booking process and communication from the team was absolutely spot on, self check-in and with Whatsapp communication for anything needed. The pods are spacious enough for two including two dogs. Booked a meal in the metal bridge pub, food was delicious and the service was lovely. Although there wasn't much nearby this would be a great base for the lakes and Scotland. Would recommend and will be staying here again in the future

Lovely pods in a nice area. Myself, partner and dog enjoyed our time away even though it was cut short. We came for our anniversary and even got engaged here!

Really enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault it at all. One of the biggest pods we've stayed in and really clean. Toilet and shower facilities excellent. No complaints at all.
