About Coutts Glamping
Located just outside Wadebridge, Coutts is surrounded by fields with sheep and horses for neighbours. There are wonderful panoramic views all around, yet you'll only be a five minute drive from the A39 Atlantic Highway, a main artery route through Cornwall. The whole family will love the freedom of a safe and private space. Set in their own small garden areas are two two metre tents which have a double bed and two futons sleeping four people, plus two cabins with a double bed, bunk beds, single bed with pull out matress and a single sofa bed which sleep six people. The shepherd's hut offers a comfy double bed to sleep two people. All are lit by solar lights and heated by wood burning stoves. Bed linen can be hired for an additional cost (no towels). The fire will be ready for first use and there is a small charge for any additional logs, kindling, and fire lighters for the wood burner. They all have their own kitchen annex, fully kitted out camping kitchen for a self-catering stay with gas for the camping cooker also supplied. Each accommodation even has its own private toilet within the shower block. The owners live nearby and will ensure you have a care-free stay and offer assistance if it is needed. Sorry, dogs are not permitted on site.

Things to do on site and in the Wadebridge area
Coutts site offers a true taste of the countryside and surrounding wildlife. It is so peaceful and quiet. You will hear the horses in the adjoining fields and in spring the sheep calling to each other.
Overhead you will see and hear buzzards and sometimes owls at night and larks in summer. After dark you will realise that there is no light pollution on the site and on a clear night the stars are brilliant.
On a good night, it is a joy to gather around a blazing fire, get the barbeque going and open the wine.
Just a bit more than a five minute drive will take you into the up-market town of Wadebridge which has lots of interesting shops and cafes. There you can hire a bike and explore the Camel Trail, which will take you to Padstow one way, and Bodmin and beyond in the other direction.
Places of interest within a 30 minute drive include Crealy Adventure Park for the youngsters, as well as beaches, including the world renown Fistral Beach at Newquay (popular with surfers). There are historical country houses, standing stones on Bodmin Moor and, of course, the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Other attractions nearby:
- Camel Creek Family Theme Park (10 minutes)
- Pencarrow House and Garden (10 minutes)
