About the site


The site is spacious and grassy, set opposite the River Trent. It's just a short drive from Nottingham and its amenities. Bell tents are set in a quiet, grassy paddock which is open and surrounded by hedges and mature trees, providing guests with plenty of space to spread out and privacy. Friendly dogs are welcome throughout the year.

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.


There are walking and cycling routes across the rolling Nottingham countryside, with many popular canal treks.

Canoeing and kayaking plus fishing and boat trips are available on the River Trent. For adventurous types there are water-based options such as wakeboarding and whitewater tubing, rafting and kayaking a short drive away at the National Watersports Centre.

There are many beautiful riverside walks and bike routes from the campsite. Be sure to test out the great restaurants and pubs all within walking and cycling distance.
