Old Buckenham Country Park is located in 32-acres of beautiful countryside in the heart of Norfolk. The site sits in tranquil parkland with beautiful views. At its heart are two natural lakes, home to a wide variety of wildlife including large numbers of dragonflies, frogs and the resident geese. With a newly developed shower block, that has heated flooring, washing up facilities and charging points for non-electric campers.

About Old Buckenham Country Park
A dog and family friendly site located 40 minutes outside the city of Norwich. For campers with tents there is the option of pitches without electric which measure 6m x 6m, and grass pitches with 16 amp electric that measure 8m x 8m. Pitches are spread out across the site with many located around the picturesque lake. Tourers are also welcome on allocated grass pitches with 16 amp electric and measure 8m x 10m, these pitches are suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. All camping and touring pitches take up to six people. If glamping is more your thing then you're spoilt for choice. There are three tin huts which sleep four with one double bed and a single bunk bed, along with fridges and complimentary refreshments. A self-contained cabin is also on offer with its own kitchen, dining space, shower room and even hot tub. The cabin sleeps four and has a double bedroom and a second bedroom with single beds, perfect for a family of four. For food and drink, the onsite OB Café provides the perfect social hub for a drink and a bite to eat whilst overlooking the lake. During the day they serve local coffee and snacks then in the evening they provide a bar service. During peak season a BBQ shack is available on Fridays and street food on Saturdays from local vendors. The site is known for its affinity with hot air balloons and offers dawn or dusk rides with glorious views over Norfolk. Fire pits are allowed if off the ground and contained, there are a limited amount for hire on site and firewood is available to purchase. Dogs are welcome in all accommodation types so feel free to bring your furry friends!

Site rules and policies
Check-in must be before 9pm.
One car only is kept by your accommodation if needed and all other vehicles are parked in the nearby car parks shown on the map. This is to ensure that your vehicles are not damaged by children playing close by and to support our vision of a 'relaxed and wild' campsite.
There is a small, limited amount of fire pits to hire. A £10 deposit on arrival and these, along with the firewood sold can be collected from the café. Firewood is £5 a bag. You can bring your own fire pits, just make sure they're the ground and contained. The site reserve the right to temporarily ban the use of fire pits if the ground is dry.
BBQs are welcome but must also be raised off of the ground. The site reserve the right to temporarily ban the use of these if the ground is too dry.
Hot ash: BBQ coal and fire pit ash must be disposed off in appropriate ash bins not in general waste.
Quiet time is from 9pm.
Obstacle course is 'out of bounds' to everyone - unless booked in and disclaimer has been filled in. Any use of the obstacle course is at your own risk and the site do not accept any liability for injury.
Only one tent/caravan/motorhome per pitch with awning or gazebo (regardless of size).
Rubbish and recycling to be put into designated bins.
No swimming in the lakes.
Drinks consumed on decking/in café building/coverings must be purchased from the café.
Dogs to be kept under control, out of the toilet/shower block and please pick up dog mess.
Please be responsible for the care and whereabouts of your children. The site do not accept responsibility for your children during your stay.
Please be considerate to other guests, staff and our neighbours.
Please adhere to current Covid guidelines.
There is no disposal point but the site ask that you kindly water the surrounding trees with this, as being young trees they will be grateful.
The café is open every day in peak season from 9am - 10pm serving drinks, light snacks and alcohol. Non-peak season hours vary, please ask for these when booking or check our socials.
Electric lockers can be hired for £5 and are secured by a key which we will provide on purchase.

Things to do on site and in the Attleborough area
On site there is plenty to keep you busy including a range of wildlife activities on offer that highlight the natural beauty of the park, these vary from guided walks to animal spotting and are suitable for all age ranges. For those wanting to explore the local area there is access to numerous walking trails along with great cycle routes.
You can book a magical balloon ride from site where you float over the beautiful countryside and even get a glass of champagne when you land. The site also hosts an annual balloon harvest festival which usually occurs in August. An outdoor assault course is also available to book, great if you're up for a muddy workout!
For fans of motorsport you have Snetterton Circuit just a 15 minute drive away which has races on most weekends.
Hot to Trot School of Equitation is just ten minutes down the road if you want to try out horse riding on your holiday, they even offer guided forest treks.
