About the site
A great location for exploring the Cambridgeshire countryside or simply unwinding with a book. This small, family friendly glamping site is set around a wildlife lake with row boats for guests to enjoy. Spot visiting wildlife or even enjoy a game of pitch and putt or badminton onsite. Each of the three fully furnished glamping lodges are equipped with both electric and heating to keep you nice and cosy. You will also have your own modern bathroom nearby with a personal key, so you can leave all of your toiletries there and not have to worry about sharing. Lion and Bear both feature a private double bedroom, whilst Beaver includes a double bed in the studio style, open plan interior. Bed linen is also included so you can travel light! The spacious living areas come with a flat screen TV for your entertainment, along with a small kitchenette featuring a mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. All crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided, along with a water dispenser and outdoor washing up area. Although designed for two, each cabin can accommodate up to four guests, there is a sofa bed in each, and a camp bed can be supplied if required. Bedding and linen are only provided for two so any extra guests will have to bring their own bed linen or a sleeping bag. For making the most of your lovely lakeside views, there is a private decking area with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. A private BBQ means you can also cook up a delicious dinner in the open. If you have extra guests with you, there is the Monkey Annex that can also be added to your booking, sleeping an extra adult and a child or two children. Please note, this site is dog free.

The historic city of Cambridge is only 25 minutes away, home to charming cobbled streets, boutique shops and plenty of eateries. Enjoy a punt along the river or exploring the historic university grounds. The Fitzwilliam Museum and the University Museum Of Zoology are also a great visit!
For wildlife lovers, National Trust - Wicken Fen Nature Reserve is a 30 minute drive from the site. This conservation area is home to an expansive wetland habitat, making it great for bird spotting or simply a scenic walk.
If the sun is shining, Lammas Land (25 minutes) is the perfect place for families to unwind. This popular park offers a swimming pool, large play area and plenty of space to have a picnic.
