We spent 3 weekends at this site. This is the perfect site for a quiet get away. Sarah was very welcoming and very helpful, would certainly stay again and recommend to others. Thank you Sarah, hope to see you again soon.

We had a lovely weekend which was peaceful and relaxing. There are no facilities, so you need onboard loos and shower. The price doesn't reflect that, but there is disposal for chemical waste. We had great access to walks, nature, quiet, the sound of birds, Kennet & Avon canal and a couple of local pubs.
Site's response
We are really clear on all of our information (including the confirmation email direct to our customers) that we don't have facilities, and the price is advertised clearly too - if a customer makes the choice to book knowing these things it is then rather strange to criticise it. We primarily take motor homes and caravans for the very reason that we don't have facilities. This particular customer had a motorhome so it's not clear why you would want shared toilets/showers. We're sorry if it detracted from the stay, there are plenty of sites in Wiltshire with facilities so next time perhaps you could try one of those. Kind regards, Sarah.

Great location- lovely friendly greeting and very dog friendly. Loved just the peace and quiet for our 1 night stay to try out our new campervan and put up the awning. Great location to walk to the Swan along the canal (be prepared for a 5 mile round trip walk and take head torches). The pub there is again dog friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this campsite for just the simplicity and peacefulness.

We stayed there only for one night. There was a splendid view, the places were clean and we had plenty of space. The owner was friendly. If you like peace and quiet, I would recommend this campsite.
Fabulous!

A beautiful, rural idyll. The farm and equestrian centre is well maintained. Walks of all types from hills to level ground, are in abundance. The whole area was the Estate of Jane Seymour, with Wolf Hall being a short walk away. The field used for touring is spacious with ample shade or full sun. The owner, Sarah is a lovely welcoming host and so knowledgeable about the area. All in all, a lovely relaxing place to stay.

This site is basic with no toilet or shower facilities. As there are no signs to say where you check in, I asked someone who was leaving who had been there for a corporate event. They pointed me in the direction of the farm house where someone fetched the owner. A couple of signs with some instructions would have been a help. The site is very nicely situated with pleasant views and is a short walk from the village. It was very quite and I found it a relaxing place to stay.
Totally relaxing site

Great relaxing site with many walks straight from site. Variety of wildlife. Views are awesome with clear skies. Site isn't level so ramps may be needed. Ground was soft. Not distracting from a lovely break.
Very pleasant rural spot on Wiltshire farm

A very nicely maintained, low key, basic campsite with electricity and water hookups for those who need it. As advertised there are no toilet/shower facilities. The paddock is nicely mown and fenced and the view over the Wiltshire countryside- pretty spectacular. Friendly welcome. We came from Bike route 4 - it's a short ride.
