Tents and tourers are all welcome on the site's non electric grass or hardstanding pitches which are spread across the picturesque camping fields that offer unspoilt views of the rolling Welsh hills.

About Plas y Cadno Camping
This family friendly site is the ideal place to unwind in the unspoilt Welsh countryside. Pitch up and enjoy picturesque views of the rolling Powys hills, take a ten minute stroll to the local pubs and restaurants or enjoy a night sitting by the campfire and gazing at the stars in the clear night skies. Tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans are all welcome on one of the site's 40 pitches. Choose between a non electric grass or hardstanding pitch, each an unlimited size spread across the stunning camping fields. Surrounded by nature reserves and walking routes, this is the perfect place for getting back to nature. Just a 30 minute drive will take to the Brecon Beacons Nation Park, ideal for spending your days hiking, cycling or even horseback riding. Both campfires and BBQs are allowed. Dogs are welcome on all of the pitches.

Things to do on site and in the Llanwrtyd Wells area
This is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy nature, or to get out and explore it. Surrounded by country paths, and beautiful countryside, it is the ideal location to adventure by foot or on your bike.
A short ten minute walk will also take you into the village of Llanwrtyd Wells which has a few pubs and restaurants, great for an evening out. You can even sit and enjoy dinner watching the river Irfon go by.
For those who are planning on spending most of your trip in walking boots, you are going to be spoilt for choice here. National Trust - Abergwesyn Common (15 minutes) offers the challenging Llanwrthwl horseshoe walk 10km walk through the stunning moorlands. Or take the walk to the Irfon Valley, or to Cwm Gwesyn where you can enjoy a paddle in the stunning waterfalls.
Fronserth Farm Alpacas (25 minutes) is almost a must visit for animal lovers. Enjoy a meet and greet with all of the alpacas, or even take one on a trek through the stunning farmland - a great photo opportunity!
