Crane Cross Camping Park is a charming and peaceful family-run site in Pembrokeshire. Perfect for tents, caravans and motorhomes, guests can enjoy spacious dog-friendly grass and hardstanding pitches surrounded by the stunning Welsh countryside. Plus, it's set in a great location - just a 35 minute walk from sandy Saundersfoot and a quick five minute drive to the popular seaside town of Tenby.

Lovely site which is well looked after. Toilet & shower block clean & well maintained. Loved the swing ball games. Greeted on arrival - friendly & helpful. Good access to Tenby (3 miles) which we cycled.

We had a non electric pitch. Was an ideal location for us while we came to do the Ironman. Very quiet, which is just what we needed. Very clean and tidy.

We stayed here over the last weekend in August 2024 to test out a tent that we had recently bought. We are a couple and small dog. For that reason, we were looking for a low cost option close-ish to Saundersfoot/Tenby as we like the area. The site is really nice, well maintained with a shower/toilet block. Kids playground with a couple of swingballs. A wash up area with washing up liquid supplied, material separated waste bins and a chemical toilet emptying facility. Lots of good points but if I'm going to give an honest review, I would say don't pick the pitches on the perimeter near the road as the traffic runs early hours right behind the hedge. One other small issue, which isn't the sites fault, is the fact that there are no pavements on the adjoining roads so not really safe for walking. Having said that, there are apparently some footpaths for Saundersfoot not too far away. Those couple of issues notwithstanding, I would definitely recommend Crane Cross Camping park.
Good but some traffic noise

The adjacent road can be quite busy. Whilst this is expected throughout the day (due to traffic going to the nearby waste tip), it is surprising busy throughout the night also. It is understood the site owner has no control of this however.

Nice clean site and facilities. Walked into Saundersfoot down a quiet country lane opposite the site, only takes about 20 minutes and you can catch a bus to Tenby from Saundersfoot. A nice clean town with beautiful beaches and places to eat. Would definitely go again.

Really enjoyed our stay! It was just what we expected with nice hot showers! The park was lovely and our pitch was in a perfect spot. Never had to queue for the toilet or shower and the dog walking area was useful!

A lovely campsite for families and couples alike. I marked this down on location only as it is a good 2 mile walk to the beach. There's a farm shop just up the road. Fresh milk, eggs and deli. Enjoyed our stay. We had a 4 berth tent as a pup tent and the owner was fine, very easy going. You could have a fire pit or barbecue, as long as you used stones to avoid scorching the grass.

Spent the four nights here and we were very happy, had all the facilities you need, toilets and showers were clean, there is an area for washing dishes, also a room with washing machine, tumbledryer, fridge and freezer. Owners were friendly and accommodating. Thank you Crane Cross Camping Park 😊

This is a fair weather site, it gets very muddy. Plenty of showers and toilets but nowhere to put your dry clothes in the showers. It is a good 45 min downhill walk to the beach and 5 minutes in the car.
Will be back

We went during storm Betty and she was not in a good mood. But the following morning the site owner came over to check if we survived the night and were okay. Never had that before and it was very much appreciated. Lovely man. You always saw them around, either cleaning or sorting pitches. The site was well set up and flat. Our field was great. If you're looking for peace and quiet but close to EVERYTHING this is the place to stay. We will be back.

Just came back from 3 nights at this camp site. No real check in, just pitch and enter details in the visitor's book in the laundry room. Toilets and showers cleaned with plenty of loo rolls and hand soap, undercover washing up area with plenty of hot water. The freezer, fridge, washing machine and tumble are ideal for those staying longer and for those wet days where you get soaked. The best bit of this campsite is where it is based - 5 minutes in a car and you are in Saundersfoot.

A beautiful campsite with basic but perfectly adequate facilities, Rhian and Phil the owners were lovely. I cannot wait to visit again. I only have one complaint - the weather! But nothing anyone can do about that!

Amazing place to stay, this is the second time we've visited here, now with two dogs and a 10 month old and we have no complaints. Soon as it hits 10:30pm, it's dead silent.

The site was very quiet. Toilets and showers were very clean. A 35 minute walk down a quiet lane gets you into Saundersfoot. We felt in comparison to others in the area, this site is good value for money. I know they have to mow the grass, but wished they would do it in the day when everyone was out, rather than in the evening.
Site's response
Thank you for staying with us and your review. As a small family run site, we generally do mow during the day and try to finish before 7pm, sometimes weather dictates and there's rarely a time when everyone is out.
Great site and so friendly.
