Gwaun Vale is situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, just five minutes from Fishguard. The site offers just 30 optional electric pitches for tents and tourers, with a truly rural and peaceful feel. It is an ideal location for stopovers to catch the ferry to Ireland or for days at the beach with the family. Admire the wonderful views and picturesque sunsets from your pitch and be sure to bring along a BBQ. Dogs are welcome too!

We loved our stay here! The best views ever, wonderful location and Margaret was a delight! Thank you so much! We have even offered to caretaker it if ever she needed someone, haha! Wonderful riverside dog walk with the quirky Bridge Inn pub down the road (Margaret will know why I say quirky!)
Excellent stopover

We stayed here for one night whilst touring Pembrokeshire in our campervan. We booked a plot with hook-up. It was a very well maintained site with fantastic views, and very quiet. Check in was easy & the facilities were very clean. For us a big bonus was the designated dog walking area! Would highly recommend this site.

Quiet site in a lovely valley setting with good views of the surrounding countryside. Only downside was that despite being on OS maps, some local paths had been blocked, making some planned walking difficult. Lovely harbour to explore at nearby Fishguard.
Would definitely stay there again

Very clean, lovely stop over site for 1. Not too far in my opinion to walk to the village and if you want a taxi, you're very lucky, as there are only a couple which I couldn't get at all. The campsite was very quiet and spotless.
Very cute little site

What a lovely little site this was. Very well-kept and super clean. We arrived on Tuesday and picked our pitch. All the tents pitched were put up quickly on grass. Due to it being elevated, there was no worry our tent would get washed out in the Welsh rain. We stayed in a tent with electric hookup. The facilities were clean and just right. Albeit the shower is more suited for the taller of us. It's a mile from Fishguard which is a very quaint little village with a nice beach. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night at Gwaun Vale. Friendly voice on the phone when we called to arrive and everything was clear where we needed to go. Facilities were clean, didn't use the shower but still looked clean and the hairdryer is a nice touch. Washing up facilities were great and undercover with maps and local brochures if you need to look. Under 10 minute drive to get to Fishguard Fort, which offers a beautiful view of the Pembrokeshire Coast. Would recommend if someone was looking for a campsite in that area of Wales.

Our first stay here and regrettably just for one night. A lovely clean facility, child and dog friendly and lovely views in a peaceful location at a very reasonable price. We’ll definitely be coming back.

For us it was finding somewhere close to the ferry port at Fishguard after a late arrival from Ireland. In that respect it was fine, reception was closed but we parked up and all was fine. Small site but all the facilities were there that are needed.
