About Church Bay Cottages Camping and Touring Site
Church Bay Cottages, Camping and Touring offer a great base from which to explore the island of Anglesey however you prefer to holiday - in a cottage, a caravan or motorhome, or in a tent. With 25 pitches, the site can never feel overcrowded or unwelcoming, but provides a family-friendly holiday atmosphere throughout the season. Pitches have size restrictions, some length some width. The site looks out over the rugged coastline, home to dolphins and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, providing ample opportunity to enjoy summer sunsets from your pitch. Two minutes from Church Bay beach, the site welcomes families looking for a traditional holiday on the sand, those seeking out a little adrenaline through kayaking or bodyboarding, and a good number of long-distance walkers tacking the Anglesey Coastal Path. There are also three self-catering cottages available all year round. Bay Bites' onsite catering van is open seasonally offering full cooked breakfasts and lunches in summer holidays, plus evenings at weekends from May Bank Holiday to the end of August. Paddleboard and kayak hire are available onsite too. Dogs are very welcome provided they remain on a lead at all times.

Things to do on site and in the Porth Swtan area
Being such a short distance away from Church Bay beach, life on site has a certain focus on the amazing Anglesey coastline. In addition to gentle sunset strolls along the unspoilt sands of the beach itself, the site offers an ideal rest-point from the long-distance Anglesey Coastal Path.
Children always enjoy seeing the creatures that live in the rock pools. Should you wish to get into the water, kayaking and bodyboarding are popular activities in addition to swimming and paddling, and there is a lifeguard on duty on the beach during the months of the school summer holidays.
Being a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is ample opportunity for a spot of birdwatching, with choughs, oystercatchers, and gannets all regular visitors. Not far away from the site you'll also find Cemlyn Nature Reserve, and Holyhead's South Stack.
Right next door to the site you'll find the Swtan Heritage Museum, located within a thatched cottage and depicting life at the start of the twentieth century.
