Make a trip to Batemans, the home of Rudyard Kipling, to better understand this legendary writer. It's an idyllic cottage in the Sussex countryside that provides a window into Kipling's world.
Be sure to ride the heritage Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway for a family day out before you leave. Kids will want to see the incredible steam trains.
