About Chase Camping at Four Oaks Farm
This family friendly, 'pop-up' campsite is spread across 30 acres of open land behind Four Oaks Farm in Staffordshire, offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind. As it's in the heart of the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site is also a hive for keen cyclists and walkers alike. It's a wonderfully laid-back affair, with camping and glamping pitches available for families of all sizes. There are 50 pitches for tent and trailer tent pitches, with 20 also including a 16 amp electric hook up. However, the place is never packed full so campers are left with plenty of space to enjoy games and relaxing. All of the pitches allow up to eight guests with an average of 12m x 15m each so no one is on top of each other! For those who don't want to bring their own camping gear, the site has a range of four, six and eight man bell tents available. The bell tents come pre-erected and unfurnished, but you can choose to add air beds if you would like to make life easier. If you want a really relaxing experience, opt for the deluxe twin bell tent. Sleeping up to four, the tent comes kitted out with a double bed with bedding, along with towels, camping furniture, a lantern and bunting. For cooking, you will also be equipped with a cool box, camping stove, crockery, utensils, pots, pans, a camping kettle, a worktop and even tea and coffee! The campsite is situated opposite the Birches Valley Forest, home to the Midlands' first dedicated mountain bike trail and attracting hundreds of riders all year round. Here you will also find Go Ape Cannock and Cannock Chase Forest which often plays host to large music events, great for an evening off-site. Kids will also love the Gruffalo Trail! If you want to enjoy some al fresco cooking, BBQs are welcome onsite as long as they are raised from the ground. Please note, fire pits are not allowed. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch too, with plenty of space onsite for them to stretch their legs.
The site is open between 24th May and 3rd June, 27th June and 1st July and between 19th July and 27th August.
